Well if your friends team is as bad as this, you're evenly matched. If your friend has any idea how to make a decent competitive team, then you're screwed.

Dragon Rage is great against level 30 pokemon, use it against a level 100 and you may as well use tackle. 40 damage is nothing to a pokemon with 300+ HP.

Moves you learnt early in the game, like Ember and Vine Whip should have no place in your team. Giga Drain is a GSC Move. You mean Mega Drain. There are better moves to use on a Venusaur.

You've loaded all your pokemon up with just attacks, and in most cases all the same types. If your opponent has varied attacks, then he'll be able to attack you and do damage even if he's a weaker type. You've got two water types and with Charizard and no Ground type or ground attacks that's a huge and unnecessary Electric weakness.

You should think more about what TMs the pokemon can learn rather than just loading on all the same type attacks they learn naturally.

-_- Overheat is a R/S/E move

Anyway, I recommend teaching your Pokemon some attacks that have more PP. Your Gyrados will start Struggling fast with that moveset. I recommend replacing Fire Blast and Thunder with Flamethrower and Thunderbolt (If it can learn those in R/B/Y, even by TM)

Same with Dragonite; replace Dragon Rage with Fly, and Thunder/Hyper Beam with a weaker (possibly defensive) attack

Replace Blastoise's Hydro Pump and Strength with Ice Beam and Earthquake

Personally, I would never use all three starters in my team. If you want a dual grass type, Exeggutor is the way to go. Grass-Psychic is better than Grass-Poison. Replace Charizard with Magmar/Arcanine, since you already have a Dragonite in your team. Blastoise is good, though.
