i need help on pkmn fire red

when i went to play my pokemon fire red game to continue where i left it started to pop up these messages:
first it popped this one up-
the 1m sub-circuit board is not installed

than it popped this one up after i turned off the game and turned back on-
the saved game file has been deleted

it just switches back and forth between the two messages after turning it on than off

i dont know if it is a glitch or if my game quit working, but if anyone knows please help me(pm me or post).

i've had my fire red since the games first came out when i pre-ordered mine at game crazy(maybe they game is starting to not work anymore) i know my game isn't a fake since it's that odd red almost orange color.

That sounds to me like one of the messages you get with a fake game--is the cartridge black or grey, rather than opaque red? If so, it's a fake.

did you drop the game? that might explain something. I've dropped games and they just stopped working.

That's what the ROM version says when you try and save manually in the game, so it's probably a ROM version put onto a flash cart.

Get a real game next time.

wow... almost none of you read the original post...

it could be that you shocked it... dropped it... moistened it... or it could have just worn out

if you are sure that it is real I would give ninty a call...

Yeah I'm quite "butterhanded" and dropped my games lots of times and they're on their last legs. If your games are fake, It Explanes everything. Full stop

It appears I was the bafoon that did not look. I am sorry for my rudeness and any damage it caused. I hope you accept my apology as I did not mean to cause any harm.

Next time I won't question the moderators and/or administrators because 99% of the time they will be correct/more correct than I am.
