I thought I heard somewhere that Hikari's Mimiroru will have a crush on Ash's Pikachu. Did I misunderstand, was it false, or is it really going to happen?

It probably will ignore Mimiroru, causing a Comic Relief sorta thing, where Mimi will attack pikachu for not returning affection. :/
