I need HELP!!!

i dont know if im doing wrong or something or its my game. whenever i try to give my pokemon a TM or HM it doesnt work. i dont get it and it has made me super mad.

are you sure that the pokemon can learn the tm/hm. if you're not you should look here

What are you teaching and to whom are you teaching it to?

GO to your bag
then your TM/HM
Then select a TM and teach it to a Pokemon

you are probably trying to teach a tm to a pokemon that isn't compatible with it.

yeah, probably not compatible, or are you trying to give it to them as hold Items? because HMs can't be held

It's also possible that you are trying to teach it over an HM move. If the move you want to replace can be learned by HM, you will need to use the Move Deleter to eliminate the move before your Pokemon will learn a new TM or HM.

I have tried to teach all of my pokemon "Cut" but it doesnt work and i have been doing it the same way you are all telling me.
im trying to teach it to my zigzagoon.
I also forgot to say i have Pokemon Emerald.

I finally figured out wat i was doing wrong. im such an idiot. sorry for wasting ur time guys.
instead i was going to Pokemon on the options screen then go to a pkmn and hit "a" then got to item, then give and then give the hm.
im soo stupid!

If you carnt teach a TM/HM To a pokemon that can use it then its probably your game.

crack up, I thought it might be because you were trying to give it. HMs can't be held, that includes all Key items too (just so you know).
