Thank god for a normal advise thread, I mean the ;ast one I posted in was about this boy who wants to leave her gf because she . . . Anyway (just realises that was unappropriate)

Never mind. I find that restarting when you are bored really just makes you more bored, having to do all that you know how to do again. I would personally say, just try to get together a perfect DVd team (Which is a bore in the arse anyway) but then have this AWESOME fun at the BF.

Every time I want to restart Sapphire I ask myself, "Do I really want to save Hoenn for the fourth time?" So I haven't restarted it. I think you should ask yourself the same question.

Man, tell me about it. I'm currently working through the game again to make a good BF Team, but I'm bored out of my mind. The fun I'll have in the BF will be worth it though.

Nah, its better to just get all the pokemon or do the battle frontier. When you restart is does get boring.

Don't restart, I tell you...unless you trade all your Pokemon and useful items to another game first.

I say don't do it, you get to do more when you have finished it, then starting it.

otherwise get another game. trade your pokemon into it, then start over, then after you get 8 badges, trade back.

You could start a new file, but it's LONG having to play all that way again. Starting fresh is BORING, and..just long. Don't start again, trust me. It's boring and you might not want to play it as much.
If you have your heart set on restarting, then, if you own Pokemon Box, transfer all your best, favourite or whatever pokemon you wanna keep there or just trade and that's it.

yeah, don't restart it, just try to build like tons of awesome teams and shiny hunt and complete your pokedex. There's never an end to team-building (until you have 426 perfect team pokemon) or shiny hunting (until you realease/trade all your other ones and have 426 shinies)!

If you want to go ahead. If you have another game, trade all the Pokemon onto it. When you restart you know whats going to happen, so if I were you I wouldn't restart it.

Out of a crazy mind.
Trade all your Pokemon and items to another game and start over. That's what I'm gonna' do.

Restarting is forbidden for me.
Better you breeding, EV training and make a good team for BF. Bf will always exciting, it will never boring (imo).
Beside that, you may complete you national dex and search for shinies.

I am the little voice inside your head.....listen to me on this.....don't restart the game.....you will be in for a totally boring experience....

What I do is I use my Ruby/Sapphire to get all the pokemon that I like (mostly Latios and Latias, of course) and trade over to my emerald. Then I restart my Ruby/Sapphire. I have a lot of Latios and Latias this way, you can just keep getting stronger and stronger... not to mention the pokemon also gain more expierience, and with the lucky egg, training time is cut to one-fourth, so a lot of Lv.100's are easy to achieve.

Keep thinking about your current emerald game. I've done this once but not so long after I start my new Sapphire, I get bored in just 2 days, worse than before I restart it. Well, in my Emerald now, I'd never restart it.
