I Need Some Advice.

Okay, so I have the opportunity to get both "Gold & Silver," but used. I usually never buy anything used, and I'm not sure if I should buy these games. I've seen both games, and they look as if they were completely new. I used to own "Silver" years ago, but I lost that one a long time ago. So should I pick up these games? They're priced at $50 for both games, and they're both pretty rare games.

$50 dollars seems like a pretty good price. If you're a nostalgia freak you'll DEFINATELY have to pick them up.

Do you have any pictures?

I mean, I loved my "Silver" and "Crystal" games when I was younger, but unfortunately, I lost them both. I've played a game from each generation, I still think that the second generation is the best (and most exciting). Sorry, no pics, but they're in complete mint condition.

$50 seems a good price (are we talking US dollars here?)

For about that price you can get them original factory sealed (eBay link), but since you'll be playing them and taking off the seal it doesn't really matter.

I say go for it - $50 is a good price for both in mint condition and you're right, they're pretty hard to track down in good condition these days.

Finding it with the box is hard enough, but for me it's gotta have all the instructions and booklets and be in mint condition. :D

I bought Silver factory sealed off that seller above (since I lost my Silver version) and the memories it brought back when I pulled off that Nintendo seal...Ahhh, childhood.

I agree with you - G/S/C are the best generation of games. I love 'em to bits and trying to track down Gold (probably use that eBay seller) and Crystal in good conditions now so I can have them all nice and complete. I'm anal like that. :D

I'd say go for it- but first look around and see if you can get it cheaper. I bet theres most likely somewhere else that would have it for cheaper. It also depends where you live; however; and what currency you are talking about (I'm assuming you are talking about US $50). If they are in that good of condition, get them. I see the games on Amazon for about 15 used, but I wouldn't depend on those because who knows how long on those until the battery dies.
