Still a great banner, though. =P The background's excellent, I really love that cool lightning-ish effect...Very stormy indeed. ;o It has a very powerful, violent atmosphere to it, and you blended everything quite well, too. I also like those nice shades of green you used, the colors seem to fit the theme, somehow. =/ As for my only criticism, I agree with Hyuuga Hinata; it needs a message. It is indeed better to use art as a way of expressing yourself rather than trying to outdo someone else. Still, you did a pretty decent job on it; keep practicing and maybe, just maybe, you'll get as good as Danny.

why the hell would I be making a banner in elements 2 anyways? ._.
But the only thing that really stands out as "OH MY GOD THATS UGLY" is the white border around the text at the bottom. Way too pixely looking, and doesnt fit the style of the banner at all. The render has pixelly edges, too. Pixelly edges=ugly. But I do like the bottom-right text.

i'm thinking i should change the render. I can never find any good renders... anyone know? I need to find a better resource for the upcoming july banner contest *excitement*.
also, does anyone have soe more crit for the background? Sometimes my backgrounds seem like they don't have very much depth. I guess I just need to brush more and more... would contrast help?
