I really hate how The Pokemon Company made Greninja dirty

Regardless of how people see it, Greninja has always been one of my personal favorite Pokemon. I love its design and its general ninja concept, and it's also one of my mains in Smash Bros Ultimate. However, at one point despite its popularity in Japan, for whatever reasonm The Pokemon Company made the Pokemon completely dirty: it all started when Ash's one was defeated by Alain's Charizard at the league (hated Alain ever since as I always saw him as the instrument used by TPC to make people hating Greninja) and then made him releasing it with a pathetic, irreversible excuse. Then they made the Pokemon completely disappearing for YEARS (excluding Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Greninja never appeared in an official game from 2018 to late 2022 that we talk about spin-offs or mainline games. And even in the case of Smash: the sole reason it was still there, was because Sakurai made the game with the mentality of bringing back all of the past fighters. If he decided to not bring back them all, almost surely Greninja would have remained out of it), and then after it appeared again in the games it became completely useless battle wise: its Protean ability was nerfed by making the type change happening only once per battle unless the Pokemon it's changed, and the Battle Bond ability doesn't anymore change it into the cool Ash-Greninja form, but it simply boosts Greninja's attack power after it defeats the Pokemon.

As someone who genuinely love Greninja as Pokemon, the fact that it was made so dirty by The Pokemon Company was incredibly frustrating and unforgivable, and I really don't understand why would they do that to one of their most popular Pokemon...
