    SomeoneIGuess ?Hu Hsilaciryl

Hi, welcome to this RMT. Probably no different than your everyday team, but hey, it is. So yeah.

    Krookodile @ Focus Sash
    Ability: Intimidate
    EVs: 252 Atk / 84 Def / 172 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Beat Up
    - Low Sweep
    - Earthquake
    - Taunt

This guy is my lead. Well, not really. On wifi, Team Preview ruins that but who cares, he works. Intimidate is awesome. Because, Just as an example, Scizor will never KO Krookodile with Bug Bite / Superpower + Bullet Punch. Wait no, miscalculation again. Actually it will KO me. Got my Speed and Defense EVs mixed up...
Most of the time though, I get screwed over some how. Other times, people underestimate the croc's power and decide that Ninetales is safe against it.

Beat Up is unreliable, but it breaks sashes, and 90% of the time I use it when my team is fully alive and not paralysed / burned / asleep / etc. Even with 1 of my team down, it still hits harder than Crunch. It also has a "high crit chance", since I hit 6 times. Still, unreliable, but I've already bred an awesome Sandile so I'm not tossing this guy. Low Sweep lowers speed. It breaks sashes, and lowers anything not called Accelgor's speed to the "slower than me" category. Also it's like a check to Excadrill if I'm still at full HP. Earthquake is the obvious reliable STAB. Also Ground + Dark is cool. Taunt stops Stealth Rock, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Dragon Dance (To a lesser extent), and stuff like that.

    EVs / Nature
Why 172 Speed? Why 84 Defense and not HP?
Well, 172 Speed gets me to 263 Speed, enough to outrun any base 130 after their speed drops. 84 Defense because it boosts my Defense and not my Special Defense. It works better than max HP.

    Starmie @ Life Orb
    Ability: Natural Cure
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Psychic
    - Grass Knot
    - Rapid Spin
    - Recover

Wait, what's up with this guy? Psychic? No Ice Beam? Wha?
Well, he has awesome synergy with Krookodile, kills stuff, and stuff. Krookodile lures Bulky waters and Fighting types, so Starmie KOs those.

Psychic kills Fighting Types. Well, an provides STAB. It also ensures a KO on any Conkeldurr, or Machamp. OK Machamp can survive if it runs max SDef, but who the hell does that? Thunderbolt kills off Bulky Water types. When used Repeatedly. I don't care about Toxic. Natural Cure!
Rapid Spin provides me with spinning support I so desperately need. Recover aids my quest in killing Bulky Water types.
After a bit of thinking, Grass Knot is better than Thunderbolt now that Roserade isn't in the team. Main reason, Swampert and Quagsire. Also Manectric covers Scizor and Gyarados, so no use for Thunderbolt.
    EVs / Nature
    Classic Timid and 4 / 252 / 252. No big deal.

    Manectric @ Choice Scarf
    Ability: Lightningrod
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Thunderbolt
    - Overheat
    - Hidden Power [Ice]
    - Volt Switch

This guy is underrated. He outruns Gyarados with a Scarf, Volt Switches to hell and back, Overheats on Ferrothorns, and HP Ices Garchomps. Unless they have Yache Berries, but if it's really a YacheChomp, then I'm screwed. Also he absorbs Thunder Waves.

Thunderbolt = STAB. Also kills everything. Uhh... No more words. Overheat is awesome. It kills Ferrothorns, Scizors (Bullet punching my Krookodile, but I'll switch only if they have a Life Orb), etc. Steels. Magnezone too. Hidden Power [Ice] kills anything Dragon Typed and 4x Weak, Volt Switch for scouting.

    EVs / Nature
    I dunno, Timid + 4 / 252 / 252 sound familiar?

    Dragonite @ Leftovers
    Ability: Multiscale
    EVs: 244 HP / 136 Def / 128 SDef
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    - Thunder Wave
    - Dragon Tail
    - Roost
    - Substitute

I love this guy, and I have no idea how I'd survive in Wifi without him. He dates back many... err, weeks.

Thunder Wave is Paralysis. It paralyses stuff. Also it's annoying and causes people to ragequit. Dragon Tail Phazes and allows the spread of Paralysis. Roost is roosting. It removes my Ice weakness (Multiscale!) and also gives me a few extra resistances (Multiscale!). Substitute + Full Paralysis = Ragequit. Really, people should start packing Ground types and Lightningrodders.

    EVs and Nature
This is my EV spread, and I dunno what other spread would be better. Advise.

    Escavalier @ Life Orb
    Ability: Shell Armor
    EVs: 80 HP / 216 Atk / 212 SAtk

    Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
    - Megahorn
    - Pursuit
    - Iron Head
    - Focus Blast

I bet this guy shocks you a hell lot more than Starmie. Escavalier? Wtf? Hidden Power [Fire]?!!! On a CB set? Well, that's no joke. It's how he gets past Steels, like Magnezone. However, I'm having trouble with Swampert and Quagsire, though Roserade should take care of that. But this guy gets Energy Ball!
Grass Knot on Starmie because Roserade is gone. E-Ball is unneeded, Focus Blast kills Magnezone!

Megahorn is STAB. Really, why do I have to type this out again? Pursuit because I need Pursuit. Pursuit is why I even chose this guy, since Pursuit is so awesome at killing Natural Cure abusers. Iron Head is another STAB, he has horrible moves, and Hidden Power [Fire] is my only way of killing stuff called steels. I'm thinking about Focus Blast, though. OK Focus Blast it is then.
Edit: Gave him a Life Orb, added some more Special Attack for a Chance to 2HKO Skarm. Hopefully I can KO him at least, with Megahorn > HP Fire > HP Fire. Then I could always switch to Manectric... And Volt Switch.
Ack, Focus Blast it is then...

    EVs / Nature
Brave and 0 Speed IVs make this guy ideal for Trick Room, so he's my Trick Room counter. He's slower than 0 Speed Reuniclus.

    Vaporeon @ Leftovers
    Ability: Water Absorb
    EVs: 188 HP / 216 Def / 104 SAtk
    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Surf
    - Heal Bell
    - Ice Beam
    - Wish

Vaporeon replaces the old Roserade. Why? Well, I had an Ice weakness and thankfully someone pointed it out. Vaporeon might add on to my Grass Weakness, but with 2 4x Resists, who cares? She/he's here to Wish around some health and Heal Bell away status.

Surf is STAB, no doubt about it. Not Scald because no one cares about burning a half paralysed team. Heal Bell = Aromatherapy minus the Grass type. Also It's blocked by Soundproof but that's unrelated. Ice Beam for coverage, Wish for recovery and Wish passing. Also it means my Smeargle will be seeing some use again...

    EVs / Nature
Defense to make up for it's lower Defenive stat, some power, and some HP aka Lefties number.

    Conclusiony thing
Well, here's a Wifi team that I'm probably going to actually get on my White. Or whatever. I really need help with changes, since everyone on PO keeps ragequitting and I can't make changes because of that.

Also, be nice when rating. The last 2 members of my team are completely undecided so PLEASE SUGGEST. I need a Cleric and a Pursuiter in those slots.

Changes to be added in White

    darkrai's_shadow Fear of the Dark!

hmm, never seen a special attacking escavalier, good job :)

otherwise, the team seems to work great with each other, cant find much to change about it
  3. Infectious

    Infectious <('-'<)

Another option for a cleric could be Celebi. Provides pretty much everything Roserade does, minus sleep powder, but it has leech seed. You can also have Twave on Celebi too. Just throwing something out there.

    SomeoneIGuess ?Hu Hsilaciryl

Eh thanks. I have to change that Escavalier to a Scizor, who actually does the job better -.-
Actually on secondthird thought, maybe I should keep him because of his extra bulk...

I have to actually take more time with this.

you have 3 ice weakness on your team
  6. darkrai's_shadow

    darkrai's_shadow Fear of the Dark!

yeah, that could be fixed by a fire type (darmanitan) steel types (i guess either escavalier and scizor would work for this) and water types work, consider these
  7. SomeoneIGuess

    SomeoneIGuess ?Hu Hsilaciryl

Lol I thought that I already covered them enough... whoops Roserade.

Wait actually I can handle that. Starmie and Escavalier counter pretty much all users of Ice moves... Still, Probably going to add Miltank to that last slot.

Resists Ice, I'm not really all that weak to Fighting now, so I guess she should work. Gets Heal Bell and reliable recovery too.

    Miltank (F) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Thick Fat
    EVs: 148 HP / 176 Def / 184 SDef
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    - Milk Drink
    - Heal Bell
    - Thunder Wave
    - Seismic Toss

Besides that it's an OK physical wall.

    darkrai's_shadow Fear of the Dark!

or use jellicent, it resists ice (majorly) and immune to fighting, and has recover
  9. SomeoneIGuess

    SomeoneIGuess ?Hu Hsilaciryl

Needs to be a Cleric... Otherwise I lose out on Aromatherapy / Heal Bell support and yeah. Vaporeon?

I mean it lures Electric attacks, right? Manectric?

    Vaporeon @ Leftovers
    Ability: Water Absorb
    EVs: 252 Def / 160 SAtk / 96 SDef
    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Acid Armor
    - Baton Pass
    - Surf
    - Wish

Acid Armor for helping out Dragonite / Escavalier? Wish for recovery and Surf cuz I'm running around spreading Paralysis.

    Whoops, Heal Bell.

    Vaporeon @ Leftovers
    Ability: Water Absorb
    EVs: 252 Def / 160 SAtk / 96 SDef
    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Ice Beam
    - Heal Bell
    - Surf
    - Wish

i would give manetric an expert belt, but other than that, i can only think you would have trouble with a mamoswine
  11. darkrai's_shadow

    darkrai's_shadow Fear of the Dark!

that vaporeon looks good, i would go with that, i personally think its better than roserade (my opinion)
  12. SomeoneIGuess

    SomeoneIGuess ?Hu Hsilaciryl

He needs the Scarf to outrun a load of crap, that includes Gyarados and and dragon who has danced (But if they think they're safe to dance in front of Krookodile, Low Sweep!)

Krookodile is effectively an anti-Dragon Dance

OK I'll go try out Vaporeon and see what happens... OK Maybe not test it out now.

  13. RifleAvenger

    RifleAvenger See you starside

You're going to have a hard time facing down rain teams, which will kill your chances of KO'ing stuff with Overheat or HP fire, meaning stuff like Ferrothorn and other steels can either wall or threaten to set up a sweep against your team under rain. You take care of thunder users with Manetric, but water types using extra stab can wreck havoc, especially if they're either water/ground or being backed up by a ground typed teammate.

My suggestion would be to add your own, non-rain, weather changer to compensate.

One option would be drought, with ninetails, plus Venusaur as a mixed sweeper, over Excavilier and Roserade.

Normally, I'd go for defensive ninetails, but your team seems offense focused, so I'll try this instead:
    Ninetails set looks like this

    Ability: Drought
Moves: Flamethrower, Energy ball/ Solarbeam, HP Ground, Will-o-Wisp
    Item: Leftovers
    EV: 252 SpA/ 252 Speed/ 4 HP

Energy ball is preferred over solarbeam because the foe can predict solarbeam and switch to a weather changer, then KO ninetails. HP ground deals with heatran, though with the prevalence of Heatran @ air balloon, HP fighting is a consideration too. Will-o-wisp burns things, which helps your offensive team by giving it some makeshift defense. Though this is an offensive ninetails, I'm going for leftovers because the purpose of this tails is to counter opposing weather, which means you'll want it alive as long as possible.

    Venusaur set looks like this;

    Ability: Chlorophyll
Moves: Growth, Seed Bomb/EQ, HP Fire, Sleep Powder
    Item: Life Orb
EV: 252 Speed, Some mix of Att and SpA. You could run an entirely special Saur too, with a modest nature and energy ball rather than seed bomb.

This thing hits like a truck under the sun, where growth gives it +2 Att and +2 SpA, and where its speed is doubled. Seed Bomb gets STAB, but earthquake is just such a useful move. HP fire keeps steel killing ability. Sleep powder buys turns for set up, and keeps a sleep inducer on your team.

Unfortunately, it seems as though you really want to keep a cleric on the team, so I don't know what you'd replace. you'd also lose your only steel type, which isn't good. Still, maybe take it into consideration?

Actually I think I'm fine even if it's raining. Escavalier benefits from it, Dragonite laughs at Ferrothorn, but if we're talking Swift Swim, then I might be screwed. Also Ferrothorn dies with repeated Overheats. Though you might be right somehow, since Rain does walk all over me...

Also running Ninetales makes them think a little, but then running Ninetales means Vaporeon needs a new move.

But the main thing is that Dragonite Paralyses and Escavalier can take a few hits.

Also I dislike abusing the weather with Chlorophyll / Swift Swim / Sand Rush. Really, that's cheap... Hmm, Abomasnow? I mean, it's a great check to stuff... might as well try it out. Though it really annoys the crap out of Dragonite and Escavalier (Until he gets Overcoat)
