omg!!! i was trainin my squirtal that i breed and entie poped up i got out my snorlax and was going to weakin him but he fled!!!! how do i catch him!!??/!!!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????

Run around in an area and use repels.....although they appear randomly.
Entei could always Roar you away, then it's gone for good

If you have already used the Master Ball, then get a Gengar or a Crobat with Mean Look (Gengar is better because it have better Special Defense I think) and chuck Ultra Balls at it. If you DO have a Master Ball, then check the Pokedex to see where he is, then just fire away with the Master Ball!

once u found him (i think you wrote that you have), look at his pokedex entry and press the A button too see its location....if you change the route, he changes it aswell...so try too get him on the same route you're going to
to catch him, use a fast pokemon with mean look (hi golbat/crobat) or a poke with an ability that doesnt let the foe escape (wobbufett)
or a fast poke that can put entei asleep so it doesnt attack....
just trace it down and in some hours you should be the owner of the entei

I checked the pokédex and feel a bit silly now. Still, no one in game warns you as far as I'm aware...

And to the thread creator: There's a sticky in the R/S/E FAQs section on how to catch Lati@s; some of the tips in there could help you with your Entei problem since the concept of catching him is essentially the same as that of catching Lati@s.

If the pokemon that knows Roar and Imprision can cancel out Roar.

But if Roar is cancelled out Entei, Raikou and Suicune can't use it until Imprisons effect wear off.
