I hatched an Evee on my Leafgreen, and made it happy. Rivals sister said he couldnt possibly love me more or something like that, and i traded it to my ruby at the right time and leveled it up, and nothing happened... i leveled it up to lvl 30 and nothing... what did i do wrong?

When you trade a Pokemon to a different trainer, I'm pretty sure it's happiness level goes down.. You'll probably have to spend more time with it to get it to evolve.

once you trade something to a different file, then the happiness level does reset... i learned that the hard way... just use a bunch of protein and stuff to get it happy again

I really hate to tell you this, but when you trade a Pokemon to a different cart, the friendship resets (because it has a "new" trainer). :X

The best thing to do would be to just make the Eevee hold the Soothe Bell, place it first in your party, and then ride your Mach Bike up and down Rustboro City or some other big straitaway for about ten minutes or so, then go back to Verdanturf Town to check its friendship, then repeating until it loves you enough to evolve.

EDIT: If you give it Proteins, you'll mess up its EVs horribly. You don't want an Espeon with a bunch of ATTACK EVs. ._.

Eh, yeah... But everyone should have known the happiness would reset by now.
