I want this game to be LONG.

In previous games, one of my pet peeves was beating the Elite Four for the first time with my party being lvl 50-ish. I want a game that by the time you get to the Elite Four, you're in the 80-90 range. Forget all these extra regions and stuff after the Elite Four, I want them to be very last at around lvl 90-95. Gold and Silver were a step in the right direction with Red being in the high 70s, Then there was Fire Red and Leaf Green with the revamped Elite Four, and Emerald with Steven at the 70s, too.

I'm probably asking for way too much, but I think this would be great. Thoughts?

Wat.
Heck no! At least not level 80-90s. Well, actualy, yes, but than we would need an extra set of 8 gyms! Perhaps there could be 8 unofficial gyms, or a bigger amount of people in the Pokemon legue.

Well that would be okay but i would like to be able to transport my old lev 100s over by then so that i could beat them. It would be better the way R/B/Y did it though mabey with three cycles and two ways to unlock the better E4's.

I think that once you beat the e4, all trainers gyms etc increase to say, min lvl of 40-50. You have to go through everything again and fight an awesomly tough e4 with extremely high pokemon lvls. What do you guys think?

60's is still too low, I say 65-75 would be perfect. And unofficial gyms are a cool idea

Low 70's is the highest and that is stretching it. That will make training a damn headache in my opinion if you make it too hard.

Or better yet, though doubtful, change the "Elite 4" all together and make it a tournament - much like a bunch of people who have also earned all the badges and battle until they reach the champion. It's ridiculous that only you and your rival ever the 8 badges.

Yeah, its would be cool, people can beat the game in about a day, so I agree with you. Need more fun. xP

Isn't 55-65 the same as R/B? It has to be higher than that

some people want to train there pokemon to level 50, so I think and I hope, since I am like those trainers that it will not happen, they did in Jotho I know, but then they changed it, maybe because they thought people didn't liked it(?) btw don't start flaming me bacause of this.

Well, over 70 is breaking the line for the Elite Four

As meta-master said, there should be a trainer like Red, that has all 80s, and you can battle him again and again
possibly two or three hidden throughout the region that appear after you beat the E4 representing characters from the past generations :)

This has been a complaint of mine for a while. It was tougher in R/B/Y; my pokemon were in their 70s when they were wrecked by the E4. By G/S/C, the E4 was destroyable without trouble. I hate it how low levels later wild pokemon are

Anybody else want a large dungeon with high leveled pokemon like those dungeons in r/b/y/g/s/c available after the E4.

Plopping higher-leveled Pokemon on the same crappy AI won't really remedy the problem; now giving the trainers better AI...
