From Hong Kong, but I'm not sure whether I would be able to play my US games on it. So, would I be able to play them on the imported NDS lite IF I change the Language?

No sorry, just try to browse the net to any sites that look like they can be trusted (don't get fooled fast). Or contact somebody who can help you to get one... More I don't know
