We all know that ash's pikachu is really strong and I was thinking:
In the first episode it didnt entered the pokeball
The dex never talked about Pikachu
in the first movie it had a ''strange'' happiness when it sees mew

and I was thinking Ash's Pikachu could be a TRANSFORMed Mew!
It could be revealed in the last episode

Wow...that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Satoshi's Pikachu is really strong because he's been training it since day one. Not because it's a legendary in disguise. Use some common sense.

Although this theory is filled with holes, it wouldn't surprise me if there is something more to Pikachu's strength then just the training. ;025;

"While being trained, a Pokemon usually stays inside it's Pokeball. However, there are many exceptions - some Pokemon hate being confined."

-"Dexter" from the dub episode 1.
The dex never talked about Pikachu
[SPOIL]See: DP002. Hikari dexes Pikachu FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER.[/SPOIL]

SPOILER TAGS DON'T EXIST ON SPPF ANYMORE OMFG.

Please stop trying to raise your postcount. All of your posts and threads are pointless and just make that forum IQ of yours drop. Now stop repeating what everyone else is saying Seabiscuit.

*gasp* I was thinking that it was really strong too. It's Thunder attack even turned Swellow into a Gundam.

That's because Ash never pointed it at Pikachu. If I recall correctly, it did though. Something about Pikachu's not wanting to be in their Pokeballs, or maybe Oak said that. Anywho no one cares.

I always thought Pikachu resembled Lugia.

Well, pikachu being a transformed mew is just as likely as Ash is a transformed ho-oh. Wolfgoddess says he is. My theory is that pikachu got his insane power, because ho-oh was watching Ash fight off those spearows, and when he saw that pikachu would protect his trainer, he gave him strong powers.

... Well everyone has a point
maybe mew escaped and there appeared a real pikachu when hikari poited the pokedex, then mew reapears... LOL XD

Or maybe...(gasp) PIKACHU'S JUST NATURALLY STRONG?!?

Yes, Pikachu is unevolved, but that doesn't mean that it's supposed to be a weakling. Did it ever occur to you that the games and the anime are not exactly alike? 'Cause they're not. Pokémon that are just decent or even abnormally weak in the games can be depicted as strong in the anime, because the anime's world doesn't follow the same set of iron-clad rules as the video games do.
