Agreed...but how bout your undercover in team rocket or Cipher... you join them, but your really a good guy trying to bring them down.......Just and Idea

You could travel around like normal and do stuff but then if you have a trainer waiting for you at the gym you would get a call to go back to the gym before the trainer leaves. Or it could be something along those lines.

I think it would be cool to be something else in a game. I just want one game where you could customize your own player and do a bunch of other stuff besides pokemon. I'd like to be able to do stuff like we do in the real world in the games but still train and battle pokemon.

Seriously, it would be boring being a Gym Leader all the time and being in an evil team goes against what Pokemon "aims to promote."

Yeah, It would be cool to be a gym leader, design your own building and design and name your badge. That would be cool after beating the Elite four. Maybe you could choose if you rather fight in the Battle Tower or as a gym leader.

The real reason they haven't made a KOTOR-style Pokemon game yet is because the GBA doesn't pack enough power for such a feat. Sad, but true.

Idea: What if you couldn't capture Pokemon but only "transfer" your Pokemon from other games. The game identifies level, stats, etc. and makes an opponent challenging, depending on whether in an option key you choose Easy, Medium, Hard. Also, you can get cool items found in no other games. Plus a stat boost or something along those lines as well. ;025;

Being a Gymleader would mean being sedentary and battling a lot... being with the evil team would promote, well, evil which I doubt is a quality most parents would want for their children.
