even though they werent taht popular i think in some like random episode eventually skitty and eevee will evolve but then shes sending them home. But as for munchlax i donno she clearly has to keep it for now cause its a dp pokemon but i hope she eventually trades it for her bulbasaur at oaks. Once again haveing then her future blaziken, blastoise, venasaur and then her new dp pokemon

Squirtle is awesome, and I expect May to hold onto it a bit longer... since they probably won't start the new region until the Fall most likely. Hopefully Combusken will evolve soon, which she will probably leave it behind along with Ash's Sceptile, so they don't have overpowered Pokemon on their sides, just like how Charizard was left behind.

I don't expect Munchlax to be hanging around long either, because it'll probably evolve... and then the Snorlax will just get repetitive, and reused considering Ash had one too. They weren't very original with May, she got too many similar things to Ash (Beautifly = Butterfree for a minor example).

And Aipom = lame. That is all.

Yeah, we expect Squirtle to stay until the new region, which would be until the Fall.

Combusken is her starter, she's not going to leave it behind. Its May's version of Pikachu, and I doubt it will evolve for a long time.

Munchlax will never evolve, it's meant to be mascot for the new gen. They're not going to evolve it and turn it back into an old Pokemon again. Just like Pikachu will never evolve, they're mascot Pokemon for the series.

this is my bet for mays team
1) keep combuskin (which will eventually evolve but not until her other pokemon like squirtle evolve)
2) keep munchlax (as its the dp pokemon which im hoping eventually in the next season i donno get rid of it maby sending it to oaks, or her house or giving it to max or somthing)
3) keep eevee (so it will evolve into an espeon or a dp evolution, but then sending it home)
4) sending squirtle home with her skitty and beautify and bulbasaur.
5) lastly k eventually switching her team around her skitty will evolve but stay home with her beautifly, munchlax and eevee evo. so on her team will be combuskin, squirtle (wartortle) and bulbasaur (ivasaur).
6) then she will catch maby 2 or 3 new pokemon and evolve some of them.

I have to disagree with the Beautifly = Butterfree statement. Beautifly was May's star Pokemon at the beginning and took part in numerous contests. Beautifly did a total of four appeals, which outnumbers the rest. Also, Butterfree was there for a while only while Beautifly stayed on her team throughout Hoenn. Why? Beautifly was kinda' like her signature Pokemon in Hoenn, being entered in three contests in Hoenn (Rubello, Slateport, Fallarbor). Every region, she'll have a new signature Pokemon and it'll end up getting Burg'd or Oak'd. Also, Butterfree wasn't considered the 'star' of Ash's team. Butterfree got one Gym Battle, which was VS Misty's Staryu, before it got released.


Meh, it hints that she'll dump Squirtle, take Skitty or Bulbasaur. I'm not surprised. Skitty entered two contests and won both. Bulbasaur entered two and only won one... They were runner-up to Beautifly or something. Combusken didn't get enough Contests in Hoenn because it was neglected? Something like that. XDD.

Anyways, me thinks that she'll dump Squirtle. The thing served it's purpose, why the hell stay there? iirc, Squirtle was entered in every contest bar Yuzuriha. Saffron (Battling), Salaryman (Me thinks it appealed), Harley episode (Unsure of this...), VS Brock (Me thinks it appealed though I may have got it wrong). Meh, I'm unsure, XDD.

Dude, Munchlax has done next to nothing in Hoenn and only a little bit in BF. The guy has only been in three Contest battles, one in which it lost, and the two GF matches. It's also only done two appeals.

Why would they bother to give May the most marketable Pokemon of the D/P games and not have her bring it along? The GF even made it apparent that Munchlax along with Combusken are her signature Pokemon, they're the only Pokes to do appeals and appear in two battles.

I mean, if May dropped Eevee I can semi-understand it even though I'd be confused as to why the writers bothered to give it to her in the first place and not really develop it, but Munchlax? I honestly can't see it being anywhere but on May's team, at least for Shinou.

Well, it does seem that his purpose was to advertise FR/LG, and she has to make room for new pokemon. It has gotten plenty of spotlight too. I hope there is a new eeveelution too, like an Ice tytpe evolution for eevee. They can call it frosteon. Or herbeon for a grass type, the one that's long overdue.

Then she will evolve eevee send it home with munchlax. And skitty has to evolve to somtime, probly in like a battle, but then stay at home.
