Ice, Grass, and Bad Eggs?

After going through some threads. I saw that some people have eggs that are called ice and grass. Are these just dares? A glitch? Or some special event?

Also I learned that there are Bad Eggs that are from the cause of glitches. Any more info?

The only thing I know about bad eggs is that they might be programmed into the game to appear as punishment for using too many GameShark/Action Replay/etc cheats. Also, another thing that I heard is that they don't hatch.
