ID number

Hi

I was just wondering, do any of you care about your ID number? Myself, I reset the game until I get a number that feels right. This leads to me having to wait a week or two before I can start playing for real when I what to start over. Do you do something similar? It would feel good if I knew I wasn’t the only ID lunatic out there. :)

Actually yes I care, similarly to you. I reset until I have an ID number full of odd integers, since I have an irrational bias for odd numbers

I couldn't care less, beyond a slight happiness when I get an ID that amuses me in some way, like by having the same number several times in a row or something.

^ This.
Also doesn't this seem like it should have been in polls?

I had 01337 on my Pokémon Emerald. Thought it was funny.

I never really cared about it though, seems pretty pointless to me.

One thing I have noticed is that I always get numbers that look very much like the ones I had on another Pokémon game. Must be a coincidence, I think.

I think I had that same ID number on Emerald when I restarted. Freaky.

he, I like even numbers, especially twos.
Somthing that begins with a two, ends whit a two and have even numbers in between … aaaaa I’m getting shivers just thinking about it.

edit
(It seams creepier on paper than it did in my head) :p

i dont really care seeing as it doesnt matter in the game that much. when you trade back and forth between your games you still cant nickname your own pokemon :(

I don't really reset mine, but I trade to get other ID for the Lottery Ticket to try and get the Master Ball prize. I was really close once, with four out of the five numbers correct.

Nah, I couldn't care less about ID numbers; they don't really matter now, do they? Except if you intend to RNG abuse for shinies - in which case, it'd be useful to RNG for a helpful ID/SID combo. I don't RNG, nor do I intend to, so it's all good.

until I get a number that feels right.

Now what kind of a number would that be? O_O

I couldn't care unless I want a specific fossil in my platinum game

^Isn't it sort of...impossible to get the exact ID no. you want? There's like, millions of combinations. :/

I don't care about my ID.no. It's something I barely even look at in the games.
But I do collect a lot of pokemon with different IDs from people to win stuff at the daily draw in the lottery.

I don't SR for a certain ID number, but I do find it amusing when I get a sequence
