1. What the hell is so feminine about diamonds and so masculine about pearls? For that matter, other than the upcoming Pokemon games, how do you even relate pearls to diamonds?
2. Though it's already been pointed out, "Diamond Storm" is just the English name. In the Japanese version, it's "Ko You Setsu" (Fox Leaf Arrowhead). And again, what's so feminine about that?
3. Just clearing this up. Blackjack Gabbiani may've stated that Digimon don't even have genders, but they clearly seem to fit into some gender roles (as well as gender-specific designs) nontheless.
4. For the record, Renamon is a male in the German dub. As for "his" attacks, in the clips I've seen, it sounds to be a German translation for "Diamond Storm" (sounded like "Diyamehten Stohm").
5. Actually, undisputed_seraphim, Guilmon and his evolutions do have a female seiyuu in the Japanese version.
6. Why the f*** isn't this thread closed yet? It was clearly created by someone who couldn't be arsed to do a little research and is therefor asking a question based on false information (and wild assumptions on sexual representation). With said false info cleared up, I don't see a point to this thing any longer.
