Idea for next journey

Well since they just said that Pokemon D/P won't be out until Fall, and this saga will most likely end in June area, and last time I checked TVTokyo rarely shows reruns, any idea's on what their next journey is? I don't think it will be in the new region Shurnoa (Or what ever it's called) becuase by the time the tie this series up, they still have to design badges and gyms.

Its called taking some time off from the series. Shows don't have to run every week of the year. They could just say the AG saga is done so wait 3 months for D/P. Simple and painless

Would you REALLY want that?

Besides, the Japanese series isn't like the dub, where we get a "summer break" and in the fall, the show picks up. Pokemon there runs one episode-per-week (unless pre-empts or otherwise), which is smart.

What'll happen is probably a barage of fillers (vacation for the gang if you will) where Ash and Co. will just take it easy in Pallet for a couple days, which is really a couple weeks for us, before we see Shinou come into play.

I can't see too much of wait for the D/P saga to begin, but I'll agree with Dreamcoat. There'l just be a tiny little saga. Kind of like the Whirl Islands. Miniscule, and pointless. :p

Ugh, how many times must we go through this?

The Grand Festival ends in early July, which means May's quest is done. What's *really* going to happen is Ash will have his final challenge to end the BF saga with.

If you people think Ash is going to say "Yay, I'm done!" after the Pyramid, you have another case coming. Scott has been purposely watching Ash's matches because there's obviously some final opponent for him to face after the Brains.

How many times must this be said now that the writers aren't going to give May a tournament and then give Ash nothing?

I agree with you, but it's easy to see the argument for the contrary... it's not like there's been much solid evidence that points towards some sort of challenge post-Pyramid.

Sure, but after Ash beats Brandon we'll surely find out what Ash has to do next. I expect Scott to tell him at the end of the episode, similar to the way he revealed the Pyramid location.

Random speculation: Ash competes and wins in a tournament against other trainers who earned all seven symbols. The grand prize is a trophy and an exhibition match against any one of the Kanto Elite Four (Lorelei/Prima, Bruno, Agatha and Lance). The challenger gets to pick who they face, but they only get one shot at it.

I realize the odds of this happening are low. But if it did, it would be cool.

It's simple, After BF, There will be a small mini thing until D/P is released and then they will go to Shinou and there will be contests there for Haruka and Gyms for Satoshi and everyone'll be happy except for Takeshi and Masato cause no one likes them anyways.

I'm still not sure that Ash will be the main character for the D/P series. I'm wondering if maybe Ash will just re-enter in the Indigo Plateau Pokemon League and win it. That way he will have reached some level of Pokemon mastery (I think) and his main story will end there. D/P starts up with new characters entirely. Not for sure on this, but it could be a possibility. Not saying taht I want to get rid of Ash, I like the boy, but it would be nice to see him win big for once, using ALL of his pokemon in one way or another.

His team is at it's best now, I think after Pyramid, Scott will tell him to something and after beats that trainer, tournament etc, he will decide that next year, he will take the Indigo League again and beat it. He's out.
If May wins the GF (Which I highly doubt), she might decide to travel somewhere else. She's out.
Brock goes back to his gym, and Max becomes a trainer in Hoenn.
In Shinou, we get a new cast.

I think that after BF, they will go to the Sevii Islands for a time (Like the Whirl Cup) just for Ash, cause Scott tells him too. Then suprise, suprise, Ash might dump all of his pokemon and go to Shinou with Pikachu adn someone from his group. And then...

how about May and Ash battling all of the Team Rocket Organization for all of an season. Were they make thier own team out of all of May's friend's that they have meet in Honne, and Ash's friends from Kanto and Johto, and the Orange Island's. And take the battle directly to Giovanni, to end and destroy the organization once and for all.. This whould be a very cool way to bring back all of those charator's that every body like's and think's will never be seen agian, even the one's from the Movie's.....Heck, they could even bring Gary back for this.
