If Ash and co. gets old and series continue with other characters, will you watch it?

So, the question was in the threads title, will you watch any new series if they come out?

As for myself, if new series start with other characters, I will not watch them anymore because it gets boring and so on. Ash and his group are ok right now, if they go somewhere, I will leave pokemon anime and continue playing the games.

Of course I'll still watch it. Nothing wrong with seeing something new.

As long as the new characters don't completely suck, I'll still watch it.

I WILL want a decent conclusion to Ash and co. before they end though. And I'd certainly want a good conclusion to Ash and May's storylines, and lastly the other characters like Brock, Max, Misty and Tracey, and Team Rocket.

If the show just shifts focus without giving Ash, May and the others a proper ending, I will be p*ssed.

I seriously doubt they manage to bring on a new character that I like as much as Ash (and the other current members of the main cast for that matter), but perhaps I'd have a look at the new episodes after a fair time of sulking, I don't know.

Though, I could also use the opportunity and try to 'break free' from my addiction to Pokémon in general. Since my favorite character(s) would be gone from the show, it'd be a lot easier to do so too

I would watch it, but the new show would have to improve and not use the same old formula.

I probably won't watch it...I don't watch it that much anyway, but if it does continue with other characters I'll probably just pick up what happened from episode summaries, as you do.

Since i'm not attached to any of the main characters i'd still watch it given the chance. The only recurring characters i've taken a liking to would be Harley and Drew. So, yeah, i'd still watch it.

New hereos might lead to a slightly different plot path too... maybe *hopeful sigh*

I'd watch but chances are I'd prefer the Ash and co series but this vertion of Pokemon may make it ito my top 10 list of anime series which commenly changes

I'd start watching it, and then decide if I like it after watching it for a while. The reaccuring coordinators (Haruka, Harley, and Shuu) are the only characters I'm attached to anyways, so I'm afraid I can't say I'd miss Satoshi/Takeshi/Rocketto Dan.

I'd be up for a spin off too. =3

I'll watch. I watched the other seasons of Digimon when they came out, though I just loved 02. Other people stopped watching once Tamers appeared... I guess it all depends on if you're a fan of the whole thing, or just small particular aspects of it.

A decent closure to Ash and the rest of the twerps would be nice. (Again, 02 pops into my mind.) Close the book on one set of characters before starting another.

Should the focus shift to a completely different set of characters...sure, I'd probably watch it. I mean, I enjoyed most of the different Digimon series, and I'm enjoying Yu-Gi-Oh! G/X, so why wouldn't I enjoy a new set of Pokémon characters? Unless they suck, of course...but I'd probably watch at least a little bit.

I would watch it. I am always up for something new. I hope that the saga for Diamond and Pearl has all new cast, but I doubt it.

oh and one more thing...has enyone ever become sooo attached to a show that if it were to stop all together u would feel depresed? ME AND POKEMON. i remember my first card was a nidoran female!

Ya, I'd still watch it. Look at YGO:GX and the Millenium Arc.

I'd like to see the original characters make a triumphant return, though. I'd bring in a lot of fans, and make the series more interesting.

I'd still watch it if they had new main characters, but they would have to conclude the series with Ash and his friends properly. That means that at the very least, Ash would have to win a main league (even a repeat league like winning the Indigo or Johto League would suffice for me) and May a Grand Festival.

I'd still watch. I know some people ***** about how watching another trainer stumbling in the early stages would be boring but that was when Pokemon was at its best. Granted, the characters sucked, I wouldn't like it. However, that has nothing to do with the concept of changing casts.
