If May's combusken doesn't evlove, will Brock's marshtomp evolve?

Most of us think that May and combusken is a good team. But... because Ash's Sceptile evloved shouldn't one of the starter pokemon evolve? It it bad or not?

Brock doesn't have a Marshtomp outside the spoilers forum. Maybe you should've posted this thread there.

Anyway, I don't see it evolving anytime soon. I mean, look at how long it took Mudkip to evolve; when you consider that, Marshtomp's relatively new.

It would be interesting for her Combusken to evolve. It would be fun to see in action, and whenever it won a battle she could hug it. ^_^

Why are all of you so obsessed with Brock having a Swampert that he'll *gasp* NEVER USE.

Mudkip/Marshtompt come out of their ball for the picnic scenes and the occasional Water Gun attack. That's it.

It would actually be a shame to waste a powerful Pokemon like Swampert on someone who will never be in any serious battles outside of fillers.

Sceptile is the final evolved form of Treecko, a starter pokemon, therefore it is a starter.

Marshtomp is alive? No way, I thought it died in it's pokeball a long time ago.

With that said, no it's not gonna evolve, Unless he trains the thing whilst everyone else sleeps, it's not gonna happen. Poor thing..Getting Takeshi as a trainer.

i know the poorrr thing is never used arg what a waste or a strong pokemon.

but with that said i think next season about haft way through combuskin will evolve and then marshtomp will evolve soon after. just like it did as a mudkip

think of this way having strong pokemon in shinou wont help them so i think ash will do something like in johto(charizard to valley and squirtle to water team) and hoenn(put every pokemon to box instead pikachu). so when they start their journey in shinou it becomes disadvantage to other trainers. and brocks pokemon might evlove in the end of the new dp series. mays starter may become blaziken before the grand festival in shinou

IMO, I don't think Brock's Marshtomp should evolve. As a Mudkip, it hardly ever battled aside from battling TR. I never actually seen Brock's Marshtomp yet, but I have seen him in those episode pictures. This means that I've seen that Marshtomp has gotten that whole "love" thing Brock always does. I always found that very annoying several seasons ago. I REALLY like Swampert, so I would find it to be a disgrace (at least to me) if Brock's Swampert did that. Good thing it isn't. I HIGHLY disagree with Brock's Marshtomp evolving.
