This thread isn't talking about the pokemon games in general, but rather:
I've seen that people have seen so many n00bs clogging up the D/P forums and posting threads titled "OMG! New Pokemon!!!", or "Find out what attacks are Physical and what ones are Special", when we really don't know the exact details or what features the new generation has in store, and I think this calls for a vote:
If Pokemon 4th Gen Discussion Is Given the "Pokepoll treatment" and requires moderator authorization in order to post a new thread there, will it keep spammers out, thus cutting the number of SPAM threads? And will it cut down on "Page cannot be displayed" errors due to too many people on a single forum at one time for the server to handle it?
