If Pokemon USA is a big hit with the dubbing...

Would be a good idea if they redubbed the past movies?

It would be interesting to see Mewtwo, Lugia, Entei and any other legendary that had a 4kids actor have a new and better voice, but I think Celebi, Latios and Latias, and Mew had they're original Japanese voice actor, though the Lati pokemon had lame voices though, but anyways, what do you guys think?

Yeah, on the back of the DVD case for Mewtwo Returns, though, it said that Mewtwo was going to go head-to-head against Giovanni for the biggest battle yet (or something along those lines). Yeah, right. They hardly fought physically with any conflict, other than surpressing each other's will.

Pokemon USA is not going to redub anything. They are NOT an anime company. How many times must this be said?

They will simply continue with the anime at the episode that 4kids leaves off with, and that's about it.

Ah, those two lovebirds, always squabbling. You can see they love each other really, beneath it all. In fact, I think there's a little bit of both of them inside all of us [/CLICHE]

Not nearly as entertaining as "The Dopey Crew" starring Lombre and Wobbufet, mind. Them and their wacky antics, always getting with the girls...

On topic... no. No they should not. Remember that guy who colourised Citizen Kane? You're one of those people who would probably have liked that idea.

Interesting, but I don't see it happening. Not that I wouldn't like them to if I did end up enjoying the new voices. Especially the first and third movies. Heck, I'd buy it regardless of the dub if they actually left the original Japanese on it, subtitled or not.

Personally, if they have to make that change, I'm hope that they put out the DVDs faster. I'm not sure what it takes to make and ship out the DVDs, but I really think that they could get them out faster, especially with DVD box sets. If they really want to make more money, they could make a lot from DVDs, epspecially if they got the seasons from before Master Quest on box DVD. I could really see many collectors selling those kinds of DVDs on eBay or something like that. Anyway, that's just how I feel.

Re-dubbing Old Movies would be a big waste of time and money. Why would they want to do it?

We all know how 4Kids feels about money, so why should Pokemon USA be any different? Besides, the movies have already been dubbed. It's pointless to re-dub them simply to spare a few children from being confused.

Pokemon USA will never re-dub anything. They'll only continue on with where 4Kids left off at, which would be the Fighting Dojo episode I think.

Thinking about it, not only would there be no point in doing it, but I really don't think they're going to bother doing it even if there was a point. Why should they? If we all know what the dub mistakes mean anyway, correcting the mistakes would make no difference at all.
