OK?!?!?! that's a little extreme, but yes, I would feel the same way. I would be out on the road right now with my best friend as a competent trainer with my pokemon friends, enjoying every bit of the Pokemon universe.

Lots of people would use pokemon training as an excuse to skip school unless it involves pokemon. LOL. Life would be slightly more pleasant, but it would still be sort of nice.

So many people would abuse their power that the world would be overun by war. Also hospitals are already understaffed as it is so if you had pokemon to be healed as well you would have a wait of about 9 months or so, by then your pokemon could have died from being poisoned.

If pokémon were real..ahh..the thing i've contemplated many a time.

Well, to begin with, i'd probably wanna find me a Perap and go on some sort of strange adventure with it..

As a few people have already said, power would rush to many peoples heads, causing wars with or for the pokémon themselves, which is not a good thing.

I'd be scared as ****, hiding in my house, which I would build into a fortress. Then I'd have people join with me, for the saftey of hiding. With them comes their pokemon, hten more.. And more. Then I'd be cool. Honestley. IF pokemon were real, we'd have a lesser life expectancey(sp?). We'd go in the once peacful woods, only to be captured by a group of ursaurings.
