Hey, there. Does anyone think there should be an alternate anime where Ash received an Eevee as his first Pokemon? but, only in Kanto.

Maybe if it was a season set in Kanto or a different region. But I don't think I'd be invested in that premise for the length of Ash's original run.

Ok. It would start with a two-parter.

1. Satoshi is told by another trainer (Not Shigeru) that new trainers are to get new Pokémon at 4. When Ash arrives, Professor Okido says that he‘s an hour late. And the starter Pokemon are gone. Satoshi explains why he was late, but he doesn’t listen, until Shigeru says that Satoshi is telling the truth. Realizing this, the professor apologizes and tells Satoshi that it will take a week’s time for Him to get his starter, but Satoshi, not wanting to get behind his rivals, runs off to his house and grabs a Pokeball and heads off to Route 1 to get a Pokemon of his own.

2. While searching for a Pokemon of his own, Satoshi has difficulty looking for one. As night was about to fall, Satoshi heads back, but notices an injured Eevee. Satoshi picks up the unconscious Pokemon and brings it to Professor Okiddo. the next day, the Professor tells Satoshi that Eevee is recovered, but says that the Eevee is mistrusting towards humans. Satoshi, decides to have Eevee as His starter Pokemon. Okido, knowing Satoshi is committed to Eevee as his first, gives Him a PokeDex and Pokeballs, wishing Satoshi the best of luck on his journey.

No, Ash is done, please. He's done. We're done with him. We're all moving on at last.
@KantoReturner25 don't listen to this guy

The concept of an alternate Ash with a new starter is interesting, as I feel like the Pikachu species has way too much spotlight. Ironically him being special has now made him bland and boring

My problem with Eevee, however, is that it's meant to evolve, but won't be allowed to if it becomes his new starter. Although we could maybe have something similar to Chloe's plotline, but done right. They can even pay a nice homage to Pikachu by having Eevee evolve into Jolteon at the end

I appreciate your opinion, and thanks for defending this concept. Also, this Eevee has an ability unlike most Eevee. But, You’ll see in due time.

3. Satoshi arrives at Tokiwa City and learns about the Pokemon League. However, the Tokiwa Gym is closed. Satoshi then heads west to capture some Pokemon. (Satoshi captures a Spearow) Then, Satoshi heads onward to Tokiwa Forest.

4. In Tokiwa Forest, Satoshi captures a Beedle and Caterpie. After reaching Nibi City, Satoshi challenges the gym leader. After barely defeating the gym trainers, Satoshi thinks that He might not be ready to take on the Nibi Gym Leader, Takeshi.

5. After 3 days of training, Satoshi takes on Takeshi. And thanks to Beedle poisoning Iwark, Satoshi acquires the Gray Badge. On his way through Mt. Otsukimi, Satoshi encounters the evil Team Rocket, mining for Pokemon Fossils.

Ash gets an Eevee, but his Eevee refuses to evolve, like Pikachu. At some point in the show, the bond between Ash and Eevee transcends Eevee's genetic potential, unlocking a special Ash-Eevee form that no other trainer in the world has.

Good observation. But, maybe a brand-new Eeveelution? Maybe near the end?

6. Satoshi assists a Supernerd defend the two fossils from Team Rocket. After that, The Supernerd guides Satoshi to the path to Hanada City. Then, in his battle with Kasumi of Hanada Gym, Satoshi has trouble with Kasumi’s water Pokemon tactics. After the battle ended with Satoshi’s defeat, and Eevee seriously injured, He will not be deterred.

7. Satoshi, refusing to be defeated by Kasumi again, goes to Nugget Bridge to train. after some training, Satoshi’s Beedle evolves into Kakuna as Caterpie evolves into Trancell.

8. While continuing his training, Satoshi notices a Pokemon that speaks human language, but it’s really a Pokemon researcher named Bill. After his adventure, Satoshi heads to the Pokemon Center to rest, as Trancell and Kakuna are showing signs of evolving.

9. Satoshi faces Kasumi, only this time, He wins when Trancell and Kakuna evolve into Butterfree and Spear. On his way to the next gym, Satoshi is denied access to Yamabuki City. As Satoshi tries to find a way to get inside Yamabuki City, He notices an Abra sleeping and tries to capture it, but teleports away. However, Satoshi spots an underground tunnel which could help him get in Yamabuki City, but it leads to Kuchiba City, instead.

12. After reaching Tamamushi City, Satoshi decides to stock up on supplies, but Eevee hides in Satoshi’s backpack. Later, Satoshi faces Erika, without Eevee’s help. During the battle, Satoshi’s Spearow evolves.

13. A shady person asks Satoshi to infiltrate the Celadon Game Center, which is rumored to be one of Team Rocket’s many hideouts. Then, when Satoshi is cornered by many Rocket Grunts, a strange power awakens within Eevee.

14. Hoping to escape the hideout, Satoshi learns about Eevee’s past. Soon, He comes face to face with Team Rocket’s leader, Sakaki. as Satoshi was about to lose, Sakaki has his agents exit the hideout as it is about to be swarming with police.
