If You Could Choose Ash's Travel Mates

There has been several people who have traveled with Ash through his journeys. But if you could decide which of those companions he would travel with who would it be? Would they change through his different tournaments. Who would he travel with now? Would there be other people who were never his companions but you would like to see be his companions? Ex. Pro. Oak, Gary.

Misty and Haruka, with either Brock or Masato travelling around the region and occassionally bumping into the main group, while the other sticks with said main group. It's more likely, so I SUPPOSE that'll have to do. *sulk*

May, Max (if they can find someting interesting for him to do), and either Misty, or a brand new female character.

I just really want more than one female in the group for a change.

Just May and Max. AG3 gave us a preview of what this group could be, until Brock returned the episode after.

I'd like the group brought back down into a trio, that way there can be more spotlight episodes spread out evenly. Also, with Ash now more powerful and experienced than ever before, and May as a competent coordinator, they could both do very good jobs of mentoring Max if he should start his quest.

Essentially I see no problems with this group. Ash no longer needs to rely on Brock for advice, May is no longer the blundering newbie she was in early Hoenn, and Max has learned a lot just by watching Ash and his sister battle himself. Just have Caroline give May or Max a cook book, and they'll be all set!
