Hmm, let's see. I'd do a Sevii Islands spin-off featuring the characters from FireRed and LeafGreen and Deoxys in a simliar vein to the Raikou special, only more spread out (there are seven islands after all).

I'm not too sure on names but depriving them from Red and Leaf, as that's what Wikipedia calls the female character, I'll dub 'em for now Ryan (Red) and Laura (Leaf)

I have to say - like the April Fools Joke, I would love a Pokémon Mysterious Dungeon spin-off. With them talking and all.

Probably similar to the fic I'm doing now, which uses the AG cast but without the Gym/Contest angle for a while. Oh, and with TR seldom appearing.

I would make it entirely about the Mysterious Dungeon series and make the Pokémon speak English, lol.

Personally I would like to see another season of Chronicles. If I had to create my own spinoff however it would probably be for a teen audience. Make the Villains and Storyline a lot darker. Possibly based on the Orre Games because there is no point in making a whole new region. I just dislike how the current anime seems to only be for little kids.

An Orre series for sure. It would be based on Colosseum, but have a much extended plot, with actual romance between Wes and Rui. While the game has only a cut scene while traveling between places, this would have several episodes between places. The episodes would have full continuity, with the end of one leading to the beginning of another. The method of creating Shadow Pokemon would be explained, as well as the motivations for Cipher.

Max becoming a trainer much like Ash but you know, I'd actually have a better plotline which follows the games more closely, would be a LOT darker and would have Ralts as the 'Pikachu' of the show. It would be none too bad methinks and I'd actually remember past Pokemon and events and have Max return for them. *coughPrimeapecough*

Im agreeing with Master Bayleef in that it has to be darker and more mature of a storyline. Im thinking something focusing on Team Rocket (not Jessie and James). They would be more violent and evil about their deeds, possibly torturing Pokémon at times.
I was at one stage writing a fan fic that never took off. It was supposed to be darker and was kind of like the movie "Memento" mixed with "Bourne Identity". The guy couldn't remember who he was or what had happened but he eventually finds out hes in Team Rocket. Series focuses on him unravelling the mystery and then running from Team Rocket when they find out he's still alive.
