I was trying to make an updated version of drsunnysock's old bahamut banner, and I think I succeeded in doing that. I personally like the brushing on it, dont know about you guuys.

Man I love that brushing job. Bahamut is a little hard to see, but Sora's eyes suck so therefor ya don't hafta thrust her on that.

Really nice Danny. :D The glow on the eyes is a really nice effect. ;) The background, however, somehow doesn't match with the darkness of the dragon. But then again, contrast looks nice from a different view. :D Nice job!

And I tried to contrast the dragon with the background on purpose, I know it makes bahamut a bit hard to see against the bright background, but that was kinda how I meant it to be. Whatever.

Heck, I like it, but I'm biased, so what's my opinion matter?

I really have no clue on the details of making the thing, but Bahamut just works with that background. The glow on his eye draws the attention to him, as does the highlights on his scales. It means he matches the background, but stands out enough to draw your attention to it.

If that made sense, go me.

Well, as always, this one looks flippin' wicked. The background is supremely uber; I actually like how it contrasts with Bahamut's dark appearance, it makes it look more interesting. It made me think of Armageddon, too (jeez, why am I so obsessed with Armageddon these days? o_O), as if Bahamut was actually fighting in the battle. It has an extremely warlike aura surrounding it, emanating death, combat, passion, and victory...Very cool indeed, I've always loved warlike themes. But the best part is that IT HAS BAHAMUT IN IT. <3 Which automatically makes it awesome. :D[/crazy dragon fangirl] But really, it just looks excellent all around...The blending, the way Bahamut looks dark against the background, and the theme are all wonderfully done. You did a great job as usual, keep it up.

And don't be sad either. ;_; *hugs*

And referring to your little banner thingy, I quite like how flashy yet asy on the eyes it is, and how appealing it is to look at. Just what I like in one of those thingamajigs.

It looks awesome. The background is excellently done, with great blending, as usual. This is going to sound really stupid, but the background makes me think of cotton candy. XD I mean, it's all rainbowy and cloudy and magical and stuff. XD It's so...prettiful. :3 Yes, that's a good word to describe it. Yet Sora's expression really contrasts the prettiful background...But that's not necessarily a bad thing. =/ Oh yeah, I really like the font you used for the main text for some reason, too. XD Overall, it looks great; very prettiful indeed. :p Awesome job.

EDIT: Ewmigawd. This is my seven-hundredth post. o_O

I also don't like the render-like thing in the top right hand corner. it looks ugly. Mind you, I do like the oh-so-purdy white spot near it's mouth, like it's eating a lightbulb.

Eh, the sora banenr. First of all, why is the "R" in SoRa capitalized. It looks bad ;). Also, blending renders is fun, but it don't think it looks quite right in this banner.

try again. you've done better. now i bet you warn me for giving bad crit :rolleyes:

You cant take over the bannering kingdom, I AM the bannering kingdom. ;)

But all reasonable crits, i enjoy being critted in some respects. And who wouldnt like bahamut eating a lightbulb anyways?

These are cool. I love the Sora one.


Nothing much you can really improve on other than font selection.
You use Bitdust on all of your banners when there are better alternatives for a particular banner styles.

Try testing some new fonts out.


Other than that, you're good.
