If you had the opportunity to give a Pokémon a Redesign, Regional Variant or Evolution, which one would you give it to?

Ghost-Type Master
Unown is designed to be weak and useless on its own. Its real power comes from its hivemind, which it can't have in-game for obvious reasons.

Actually, the hive mind would make the perfect in-game addition, particularly in the form of a mega evolution.

Here are a few more:
  • Nagadanel as Bug/Dragon; I understand the Poison typing, but Nagadanel looks like a massive wasp, and it's a typing we have yet to see.
  • Stakataka as Rock/Ghost; it was actually based on a Yokai (spirit) which can possess walls and manifest multiple eyes. It doesn't look "metallic" in nature and the Yokai in question possessed walls made from rice paper and stone. Once again, Rock/Ghost hasn't been done yet.
  • Blacephalon as Fire/Fairy; it looks like a jester, and fairies / fae creatures are known to be pranksters, similar to Impidimp, Morgren and Grimmsnarl. This would also have been a new typing as well.
Speaking of Ultra Beasts, they could use a Hidden Ability outside of Beast Boost.
  • Nihilego: Anger Point; it says that "People on the street report observing those infested by it suddenly becoming violent." That would fit.
  • Buzzwole: Iron Fist; it's self-explanatory, giving its punching style.
  • Pheromosa: Long Reach; it's known for its long legs, so it would fit as well.
  • Xurkitree: Suction Cups; the name doesn't work :p , but "Some of them stand unmoving, like trees, with their arms and legs stuck into the ground.", meaning that it would be immovable.
  • Celesteela: Grassy Nature; it would be a new ability that would work like Steelworker, but for Grass moves.
  • Kartana: Levitate; it's also self-explanatory, and it would be a good counterpart for Celesteela's "3rd typing".
  • Guzzlord: Gluttony; it may not work competitively, but flavor-wise, it fits.
  • Poipole / Naganadel:
    • Poisonous; if Bug/Dragon, it could be the Steelworker of Poison.
    • Insect Might; if Poison/Dragon, it could be the Steelworker of Bug.
  • Stakataka: Sturdy; it would reflect the sturdiness of its walls.
  • Blacephalon: Prankster; it would reflect the jester aspect.

Swellow and Tentracruel. Swellow because I've always wanted to see it on the same level as Pidgeot and Staraptor, and Tentacrul because the idea of it's final form being a terrifying sea monster always seemed awesome to me.

Regional forms I have in mind:

Gastly/Haunter/Gengar- Ghost/Ice
They are based on a ghostly blue cold mist, icicles dripping down off a cave’s wall and ceiling, and a sentient ice sculpture. They also represent the sudden chill said to happen when a Gengar sneaks into a room.

Banette- Ghost/Dark
This Banette is a blackish tan color and looks like a doll that has all of its limbs tied off at the base of each to give it a humanoid look and has a few pins sticking out of its torso that resemble buttons. It has a stitched mouth similar to a scarecrow and is a bit shabby looking. This regional form is based on a voodoo doll and is more malevolent than before. It also can possess human and other people by simply entering their minds and control them by moving its own body.

It’s Kalos season!
Kangaskhan looks absolutely nothing like a kangaroo. I would give it a regional variant that has an even higher Speed stat than the Kanto counterpart and now completely looks like an actual kangaroo.
