    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
    Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

What type would you be? I made a youtube video describing my team in a short little 1 minute thing. Post here or a video response there what kind of gym leader you would be.

Psychic. It is not my favourite type, but I battle best with Gardevoir and Xatu more so than with any other Pokemon.

Assuming that I was an eighth Gym Leader in a region I would use:

Level 41 Kirlia (Trace): Reflect, Psychic, Focus Blast, Gravity
Level 42 Girafarig (Inner Focus): Agility, Baton Pass, Stomp, Zen Headbutt
Level 43 Slowbro (Own Tempo): Curse, Aqua Tail, Zen Headbutt, Earthquake
Level 44 Xatu (Early Bird): Rest, Psychic, Drill Peck, Confuse Ray
Level 46 Gardevoir (Synchronize, @ Lum Berry): Calm Mind, Psychic, Thunderbolt, Hypnosis

I would give out the Insight Badge and the TM for Psychic.

My rematch team would be:

Level 52 Lunatone (Levitate): Reflect, AncientPower, Psychic, Ice Beam
Level 52 Girafarig (Inner Focus): Agility, Baton Pass, Headbutt, Zen Headbutt
Level 54 Slowbro (Own Tempo): Curse, Aqua Tail, Zen Headbutt, Earthquake
Level 56 Xatu (Early Bird): Confuse Ray, Psychic, Drill Peck, Heat Wave
Level 58 Gallade (Steadfast, @ King's Rock): Swords Dance, Zen Headbutt, Close Combat, Rock Slide

I'd use Dark. It isn't my favorite type, but it's the only type that doesn't have a gym yet.

To be honest, I have no single favourite type. I prefer to battle with variety, and likely I would be able to come up with teams for Fire, Ground and others if those came to mind, but I think Psychic fits me well since everyone I know says I rely on the mind over the body.

I would go with the Water Type since it's my favorite. I don't feel like making a team but I know Blastoise would be my last and most powerful pokemon.

I would defoinitly use grass types, I know it would probably make for an easy gym but eh so what I love grass types. If I could be the 8th gym my team would be...

I'd probably specialize in either ground or water because both have enough variety to avoid a universal weakness (e.g. not all water types are weak to electric/grass, and not all ground types are weak to water/grass/ice). Both can use the weather to their advantage, and..... they're both so darn cool!

Here's a rough idea of what I would do for each:

Ground:
-Hippowdon (sand stream support)
-Garchomp
-Swampert
-Torterra
-Rhyperior
-Mamoswine

Water
-Kingdra (damp rock + rain dance)
-Swampert
-Suicune
-Gyarados
-Vaporeon
-Ludicolo
