I <3 Sunny Day, so whatever I could manage with a monotype Sunny Day team the best. Grass has a crap-load of weaknesses, but they are slow - Fire-types are aggressive and can learn SolarBeam.

I wouldn't have any single-type team, because those always get beaten. Of course, gym leaders are meant to be beaten, because otherwise they wouldn't be able to give out their nifty little badge! So in that case, no matter what my team was, I'd make sure I'd have a super cool badge to give hehe
