After considerable thought, I would probably use lizard, dinosaur and ancient Pokemon. I'm bored of fire, water and grass gym leaders, I want some originality. :p

6th gym
Kecleon
Lickitung
Tropius
Kabutops
Aerodactyl
Omastar

Phailsafe

Like a Boss!
I'd be the seventh... Not really a theme, which is how I think gym leaders should be.
Alakazam
Gengar
Glaceon
Quilava
Vigoroth
annnnndddd...
Lucario!

WhereIsMyWonderland

Poison Master
I personally have five favourite types, and here are the teams I would have:

1st Fave: Poison

Venomoth (Bug/Psn)
Arbok (Psn)
Finale Pkmn: Skuntank (Psn/Drk)

2nd Fave: Dark
Shiftry (Grs/Drk)
Honchkrow (Drk/Fly)
Crawdaunt (Wtr/Drk)

Hariyama (Ftg)
Poliwrath (Wtr/Ftg)

Finale Pkmn: Medicham (Ftg/Psy)

4th Fave: Ground (Sandstorm)
Flygon (Grd/Drg)
Marowak (Grd)
Steelix (Stl/Grd)
Bastiodon (Stl/Rck)
Cacturne (Grs/Drk)
Finale Pkmn: Hippowdon (Grd)

5th Fave: Dragon[-like]
Kangaskhan (Nrm)
Feraligatr (Wtr)
Yanmega (Bug/Fly)

I train those kinds of teams all the time anyway. I'm in love with them!

Dark

since all of the good gym leaders only use sweepers and one wall on a team of about 3 plus a random piece of crap (the crap on this team is sableye) pokemon my team would be:

Umbreon lv. 47
moonlight
double team
dark pulse
faint attack

Houndoom lv. 45
flamethrower
dark pulse
thunder fang
embargo

Spiritomb lv. 41
dark pulse
shadow ball
confuse ray
ominous wind

Sableye lv. 42
shadow sneak
shadow claw
power gem
faint attack

the point of this team is to fit in with other gym leaders, not to show off my strategy skills

Aerodactyl (Pressure) Lv50 Rock Slide, Earthquake, Giga Impact, Fly

Electrode (Static) Lv44 Rain Dance, Thunder, Explosion, Magnet Rise
