I lacked motivation to finish this really, Sun/Moon won't seem as rushed. I LOVE Alola dearly. I actually finished most of Sun/Moon's before I even bothered coming back to this.
And Ash's story is officially over. Alola is entirely Hilbert and Lillie's story.

Next, the series finale. Sun/Moon. Gen 8 if it happens, would be entirely standalone. Outside of mentions of characters from the previous series.

First episode of the new season is Domino, Butch, Cassidy, and Pierce staging a rescue mission for Attila and Hun. Pierce debuts his Mega Salamence in this and it makes absolute mincemeat out of Alain's Mega Charizard X and kills both of them afterwards. Team Rocket recovered their agents and Team Flare lost its enforcer. Pierce is then tasked with hunting down those scientist girls I am too lazy and don't care enough to look up their names.
Sliggoo evolves during the Swamp episodes, and it goes about the same. Only.... Florges really was evil. And Team Rocket had NOTHING to do with it. And Goodra stayed with Ash! Florges was put down and her army immediately disbanded.
Wally returns for more ORAS promotion aside from Mega Salamence being a villain and Treecko/Mudkip being cast members. He challenges Ash to a battle and finally gets his win, something he failed to do back in Advanced. Showing how much Wally improved over the years, and Ash underestimated him too costing his loss.
Hilbert and Korrina split off cause Hilbert realizes he's behind. Treecko barely has any experience. And nobody is fully evolved except for Lucario, who he's had since Best Wishes. He's unaware of a shiny Umbreon being around the area though and is immediately surrounded by Team Rocket grunts led by Butch/Cassidy who know how much money a shiny Umbreon would bring in(Reflecting how popular the species shiny is in real life). Hilbert and Korrina struggle to fight all the grunts off while Butch/Cassidy fled to hunt Umbreon down on their own. But Charmeleon and Frogadier evolve simultaneously and
knock out the grunt's Pokemon. Shiny Greninja then runs ahead to scout out Umbreon and is tasked with dealing with Butch's Aegislash and Cassidy's Dragelge by itself. But it wins. Butch and Cassidy get sent flying off and Umbreon comes out to thank Greninja before running off. Giovanni is furious to find out Butch/Cassidy somehow lost to a teenager AGAIN and immediately sends Domino after him.
Cue Gourgeist episode. Absolutely perfect, ain't changing a thing.
Hilbert lets Treecko get some experience during the gym battle before returning him and sending out Charizard to finish the Pokemon off. Treecko evolves into Grovyle from all the experience Charizard gave him.
Ash however has a more difficult time seeing as he NEVER faced a Fairy type before, so he lost.
However, Serena ends up helping him out with her own Sylveon(Caught as Sylveon cause Eevee has enough screen time) causing him to win the rematch. Mudkip starts to grow jealous of the rest of Serena's team.
The group runs into Dawn, whose in Kalos for the Wallace Cup, and is shopping for some of Valerie's unique clothing. Dawn joins the group on the way back to Lumiose.
Hilbert grows worried for Espurr as he's still acting like he has since he was caught. Not showing any signs of evolution despite being powerful enough to knockout a Flygon at the start of the episode all by himself. Espurr is distracted by something for once however and runs off, making Hilbert and Korrina have to chase after him. Espurr apparently found the female version of his evolution and is lovestruck. But Meowstic F is uninterested in him.
Meanwhile the TRio is stalking Ash, only to get lost and Meowth sees Meowstic F too and immediately falls in love much to Pyroar F's jealousy. Meowstic F actually likes Meowth though, seeing how special he is. Jessie and James wonder if they should use her on the Twerps. Meowstic tags along with them, uncaught. Espurr comes back from Hilbert and Korrina awkwardly thinking of ways to get him to win Meowstic over as they have NO experience doing that. Amelia just fell for Hilbert instantly without him trying anything aside from placing in the Top two in Unova.
Meowstic F and the rest of Team Rocket absolutely destroy Serena and Ash. Leaving Pikachu open to steal.
Espurr and Hilbert arrive however and Espurr evolves while using his psychic powers to beat Inkay, Phantump, Heliosk, Gourgeist, Wobbufet, and Pyroar F. Meowth then uses Shadow Claw and actually knocks Espurr back, Espurr evolves however while he throws Meowth into the others and sends them blasting off. Meowstic F is immediately taken down by Meowstic M and wants to be with him, much to his happiness. Hilbert doesn't know how he should handle this however, he doesn't want to say goodbye to Meowstic.
He's saved however, due to Dawn displaying interest in Meowstic F and saying she'll catch it so Meowstic M can be happy. Hilbert and Dawn finally lock eyes and at that point, just like Hilda and N, Serena, and Meowstic M before them they immediately fall for each other but both are too nervous to say anything about that.
Meowth is depressed due to losing out on love yet again, only for Jessie and James to comfort him and tell him somebody loves him for who he is. Pyroar F walks to him then and nuzzles him lovingly, ending the episode.
Cue Talonflame and Moltres episode.
The group of give arrive in Lumiose and the Wallace Cup begins!
Hilbert, still having the Contest Pass from earlier in the saga enters wanting to impress Dawn but only confides that to Serena as he's been keeping her feelings secret from Ash this whole time. It's only fair he can confide in her. Serena grows nervous hearing that as last time they faced, Hilbert would have won had he not forfeited for her.
Miette also appears and starts teasing Serena on when she'll finally tell Ash, and also reveals if she doesn't tell him by the time this Wallace Cups ends. Then she'll ask out Ash himself.
Hilbert, Miette, Jessie, Tierno, Amelia, Dawn, and Serena all make it through the appeal rounds to end the day. Ash is shocked to see Harley's face on the scoreboard as well, wondering what he's doing here due to neither May nor Drew being present.
Wallace himself then comes out and reveals a Dance will be going on for the competing coordinators. To celebrate the eight people who moved on.
Serena doesn't know how to tell Ash, and is immediately asked by Miette. Hilbert meanwhile is having similar issues while looking at Dawn. And is about to go ask her, only to get asked by Amelia. He doesn't have the heart to say no. Korrina and Dawn go together, as just friends.... despite them liking the same boy and wanting him to ask them. Neither know that though.
While Tierno's dream came through, he gets to go out with Serena!
Harley's date is a dude..... yes, date. Not friends. It's the only group aside from Jessie/James, where the two actually wanted to go together.
It works almost like that Showcase dance episode.

Mudkip is being beaten horribly physically by Cacturne, but he wins by points due to his ice beam and water gun technique.
Hilbert and Amelia face off, Amelia enraged after the previous night of seeing Hilbert/Dawn kissing. Throwing her off her game and costing her the match.
Noibat vs Dragonair
Jessie beat Tierno
Pyroar F vs Blastoise
Dawn vs Miette
Piplup vs Slurpuff
Piplup, duh. I love Miette but she'd get creamed by Dawn.
Semi-Finals:

Dawn wins, Serena has less experience and she is growing nervous because of Miette's ultimatum.

Grovyle won and Jessie is furious and goes on a rant about how he shouldn't even be in this. He's no coordinator.

Hilbert vs Dawn
Noibat vs Togekiss
Togekiss wins, and after Dawn is awarded her fifth ribbon. Hilbert reveals he only entered because he wanted to impress her, Dawn is rather pleased by that. And tells him she'll be back for a date before his League Challenge, she has to go back to Hoenn and compete in her Grand Festival first though.
Miette asks Ash out after seeing Serena hasn't, and Ash cluelessly agrees thinking they're just going out for food and asks if Serena wants to come. Much to Miette's dismay, Serena agrees. Miette realizes Ash DOES care for Serena in the way she likes him, he's just too clueless and a little dumb to notice and decides to pull Serena aside to tell him she can have him during the mid-point of the date. The rest of the date goes well and Serena grows the courage to give Ash a small peck on the cheek.
Back on the road!
Cue Zapdos episode, Noibat evolves and actually beats Zapdos. Swirly eyes are shown and Hilbert debates on catching Zapdos before Domino beats him to it..... though in the Team Rocket way. She realized capturing Zapdos is far more rewarding than offing somebody not that much younger than her. Noivern is too fast for her to escape however and sends her blasting off while saving Zapdos. Zapdos is thankful for their help and Lucario communicates to Hilbert that Zapdos said he owes them a favor and if there's anything he can do to repay them all they have to do is ask.
Olympia Time
Seeing two challengers, and knowing their destinies on protecting Kalos. Olympia challenges them both at ONCE! To a tag battle. Her Meowstic against their starters.
Lucario and Pikachu win.
Meanwhile back in Team Flare HQ, in the chaos of Pierce and Salamence rampaging through it. Z1 escapes.

Hilbert decides to go train Grovyle, seeing as he's the only one of the team not fully evolved.
He meets Z1 whose being pursued by Attila and Hun. He saves them with the help of Charizard Y and Noivern. Impressing Z1, whose in dog form. Hilbert names him Rex and offers the "dog" his companionship. Rex agrees, but refuses to be confined in a ball.
Korrina, Serena, and Ash are confused by Rex though as they have no idea what it is and the Pokedex doesn't say anything.
Domino returns the next episode and tells Hilbert that she's changed and wants out of Team Rocket. But Team Rocket would never let her just quit, as long as Giovanni and Pierce are still alive. She asks Hilbert if she can travel with them, Ash and Korrina do not trust her, Serena doesn't know who she is, but Hilbert is a firm believer that everyone deserves a second chance..... except Ghetsis. And accepts her apology.
Cue Ninja Village. Sanpei and his family believe Hilbert's Greninja is the "special" one from legends due to it being well..... special, it's a shiny for crying out loud.
But Ash's Greninja evolves and goes Ash-Greninja to beat the rival village's Mega Aggron. Making everyone realize it was Frogadier all along.
Trainer Swapmeet episode
James and Jessie continue stalking the Twerps and come across a Pokemon swapmeet. Jessie recalls losing her Lickitung to one five years ago and gaining the Wobbufet curse. "Wobbufet!"
She sees a familiar face with a Lickilicky. Lickilicky is happy to see Jessie and she's happy to see it. She offers a trade and the boy happily accepts, missing Wobbufet. Jessie however immediately regrets that, nothing feels the same without her precious blue blob and she goes to get him back. James accidentally trading Phantump after bumping into a machine.
Later they battle the Twerps and are shocked to see Domino with them. However they almost have a heartattack when they see a freaking Dragonite come out of Phantump's ball. James panics and runs off, wanting his precious Phantump back. Making Jessie, Wobbufet, Meowth, and Gourgeist give chase and making the Twerps just sweatdrop.
Jessie and Meowth are shocked he'd give up something like a Dragonite for a Phantump, something so common. James however says Phantump is special to him and he loves ALL his Pokemon as if they were his children. He calls out Phantump and is immediately hugged almost to death by a Trevenant!
Hilbert and N reunite, N says he's in Kalos because he picked up on Ghetsis' trail. Apparently Ghetsis has been researching the legends of Kalos, so N has been doing the same. Ghetsis is looking for the cocoon of Yveltal, according to N. So N has been looking for the Tree of Life, rumored to be Xerneas' home. N's friend Zorua had become a Zoroark too. N looks at Domino and can tell she isn't being exactly truthful about her reason traveling with them but doesn't say anything thinking Hilbert sees that. N leaves to continue searching for the Tree of Life.
Wally appears and kicks Ash's butt again. Calem appears and kicks his butt too. Putting him into a depression after he loses to Wulfric. Serena cheers him up though after finding him out in the woods. The two comfort each other after having to find a cave to keep warm after a fierce snowstorm hits. They end up revealing their feelings to each other and finally kiss.
The League starts
Grovyle finally evolves in the preliminaries.
Round One:
Hilbert vs Trevor
Charizard X(Hilbert chose the stone after seeing Trevor's go Y. He wanted to pit the two evolutions against each other, seeing as he's never seen the two at once) vs Charizard Y is the main event. Charizard X just barely comes out the victor and is quickly beaten by Trevor's Florges afterward
Hilbert wins the rest.

Hilbert is devastated upon losing the League in the top two once AGAIN! And collapses on the spot, thinking he failed his team. Dawn tries to comfort him by saying she won the Master Class, and can travel with him wherever he goes next. But not even that cheers him up. He leaves the stadium to go sulk in his room and Rex follows him before Domino grabs him and reveals she was working with Professor Zager this whole time! Korrina growls and says she was right about her!
Giovanni then appears and snatches Ash right up after Persian uses Thunder to get a cheap shot and finish off Greninja. Leaving Ash defenseless and able to be captured. Believing the only one who can stop him is gone due to the other being too depressed, he takes off with Ash and his Pokemon.
N is the one who snaps Hilbert out of it to get him to help, after showing Hilbert the Shadowized Zygarde Complete outside causing trouble. He gets Hilbert to go to the ruins he found that conceal both X and Y legendaries.
They are met there by an man whose face is hidden in ancient hooded robes, saying he's been there for thousand of years. Making sure nobody would wake Yveltal. Hilbert and N are taken to a tree and are told by the man, only a man pure of heart can awaken Xerneas.
Hilbert approaches it and touches it, awakening..... Yveltal?
The man then took off his robe and laughed saying he's just as dumb as his sister was. Enraging N who challenges Ghetsis to a battle..... to the death. N then tells Hilbert that Xerneas must be somewhere else and he must find him quickly. Reshiram and Kyurem reappear to duke it out while Ghetsis and N do fisticuffs.
Hilbert finds Xerneas and awakens her. Only for him to come out and see the damage Yveltal had done. Most of Kalos was turned to solid stone, save for Lumiose. Xerneas carries him back to Lumiose and he tries to get Rex to calm down, only it doesn't work. Rex tries to kill him, only for a massive jolt of blue electricity to block his Z-Beam move. Jessie/James help Ash with Giovanni and tie him up to haul away to jail for a VERY long time. Hint: He ain't getting out
Jessie won the Grand Festival and got a modeling gig, so she has a LEGIT career to fall onto to support her and James. James and Meowth open a noodle shop together so they have something to do too. James also proposes to Jessie, to which she agrees.
However, it isn't a happy ending. Lysandre and Xerosic are still out there. Lysandre is extremely crazy mad and unleashes a stone version of Zygarde that upon touching the sundial will explode and ignite the earth. Causing EVERYONE to perish.
AZ appears and informs Ash/Hilbert of this and says he created that weapon in his younger days and said the only way to destroy it is to destroy it from the inside. A one way trip.
Ash being the person he is, volunteers. Only for Hilbert to push him aside and say he's doing it. He and Serena deserve happiness, while he has people waiting for him on the other side.
Hilbert gives Dawn his Pokemon and tells her to take care of them, trusting her to care for all 30 of them. Lucario refuses to let him go along however and breaks through the stone titan with him.
It explodes and the only thing that is left behind is Hilbert's hat.

He meets Z1 whose being pursued by Attila and Hun. He saves them with the help of Charizard Y and Noivern. Impressing Z1, whose in dog form. Hilbert names him Rex and offers the "dog" his companionship. Rex agrees, but refuses to be confined in a ball.
Korrina, Serena, and Ash are confused by Rex though as they have no idea what it is and the Pokedex doesn't say anything.
Domino returns the next episode and tells Hilbert that she's changed and wants out of Team Rocket. But Team Rocket would never let her just quit, as long as Giovanni and Pierce are still alive. She asks Hilbert if she can travel with them, Ash and Korrina do not trust her, Serena doesn't know who she is, but Hilbert is a firm believer that everyone deserves a second chance..... except Ghetsis. And accepts her apology.
Cue Ninja Village. Sanpei and his family believe Hilbert's Greninja is the "special" one from legends due to it being well..... special, it's a shiny for crying out loud.
But Ash's Greninja evolves and goes Ash-Greninja to beat the rival village's Mega Aggron. Making everyone realize it was Frogadier all along.
Trainer Swapmeet episode
James and Jessie continue stalking the Twerps and come across a Pokemon swapmeet. Jessie recalls losing her Lickitung to one five years ago and gaining the Wobbufet curse. "Wobbufet!"
She sees a familiar face with a Lickilicky. Lickilicky is happy to see Jessie and she's happy to see it. She offers a trade and the boy happily accepts, missing Wobbufet. Jessie however immediately regrets that, nothing feels the same without her precious blue blob and she goes to get him back. James accidentally trading Phantump after bumping into a machine.
Later they battle the Twerps and are shocked to see Domino with them. However they almost have a heartattack when they see a freaking Dragonite come out of Phantump's ball. James panics and runs off, wanting his precious Phantump back. Making Jessie, Wobbufet, Meowth, and Gourgeist give chase and making the Twerps just sweatdrop.
Jessie and Meowth are shocked he'd give up something like a Dragonite for a Phantump, something so common. James however says Phantump is special to him and he loves ALL his Pokemon as if they were his children. He calls out Phantump and is immediately hugged almost to death by a Trevenant!
Hilbert and N reunite, N says he's in Kalos because he picked up on Ghetsis' trail. Apparently Ghetsis has been researching the legends of Kalos, so N has been doing the same. Ghetsis is looking for the cocoon of Yveltal, according to N. So N has been looking for the Tree of Life, rumored to be Xerneas' home. N's friend Zorua had become a Zoroark too. N looks at Domino and can tell she isn't being exactly truthful about her reason traveling with them but doesn't say anything thinking Hilbert sees that. N leaves to continue searching for the Tree of Life.
Wally appears and kicks Ash's butt again. Calem appears and kicks his butt too. Putting him into a depression after he loses to Wulfric. Serena cheers him up though after finding him out in the woods. The two comfort each other after having to find a cave to keep warm after a fierce snowstorm hits. They end up revealing their feelings to each other and finally kiss.
The League starts
Grovyle finally evolves in the preliminaries.

Charizard X(Hilbert chose the stone after seeing Trevor's go Y. He wanted to pit the two evolutions against each other, seeing as he's never seen the two at once) vs Charizard Y is the main event. Charizard X just barely comes out the victor and is quickly beaten by Trevor's Florges afterward

Dawn tries to comfort him by saying she won the Master Class, and can travel with him wherever he goes next. But not even that cheers him up. He leaves the stadium to go sulk in his room and Rex follows him before Domino grabs him and reveals she was working with Professor Zager this whole time! Korrina growls and says she was right about her!
Giovanni then appears and snatches Ash right up after Persian uses Thunder to get a cheap shot and finish off Greninja. Leaving Ash defenseless and able to be captured. Believing the only one who can stop him is gone due to the other being too depressed, he takes off with Ash and his Pokemon.
N is the one who snaps Hilbert out of it to get him to help, after showing Hilbert the Shadowized Zygarde Complete outside causing trouble. He gets Hilbert to go to the ruins he found that conceal both X and Y legendaries.
They are met there by an man whose face is hidden in ancient hooded robes, saying he's been there for thousand of years. Making sure nobody would wake Yveltal. Hilbert and N are taken to a tree and are told by the man, only a man pure of heart can awaken Xerneas.
Hilbert approaches it and touches it, awakening..... Yveltal?
The man then took off his robe and laughed saying he's just as dumb as his sister was. Enraging N who challenges Ghetsis to a battle..... to the death. N then tells Hilbert that Xerneas must be somewhere else and he must find him quickly. Reshiram and Kyurem reappear to duke it out while Ghetsis and N do fisticuffs.
Hilbert finds Xerneas and awakens her. Only for him to come out and see the damage Yveltal had done. Most of Kalos was turned to solid stone, save for Lumiose. Xerneas carries him back to Lumiose and he tries to get Rex to calm down, only it doesn't work. Rex tries to kill him, only for a massive jolt of blue electricity to block his Z-Beam move. Arceus is shocked as to what just happened and says that wasn't mean to go down the way it had, Hilbert wasn't meant to be the one who died. There's still something only HE can do out there. He decides to give Hilbert another shot at life and sends him back. And he sends Lucario back with him.
Hilbert does get a few moments with Hilda and N in heaven though, and gets some closure with the two of them before he's sent back to earth.
Last scene is him waking up on the shore of a beach. His clothes torn up beyond recognition and his hair all messed up as well.
No Lucario in sight.
Hilbert wonders where he is.... and WHO he is for that matter.
Only to be found by a man in a white coat who takes him home, checking his wounds and cleaning them before placing him in his guest bed. A Rockruff laid at Hilbert's feet.
Hilbert finally awakens again and Kukui questions him on who he is. And Hilbert says he doesn't know. Kukui thinks for a moment before deciding on calling him "Sun" for now.
