cilan lives forever in my heart
Yeah I hated the Alexa episode about Yveltal or whatever that was (I can barely remember it - that's how useless the episode was).

Serena getting her own special episode would've been great but for some reason the writing team gave Clemont a special with Cilan instead.
but the Clemont and Cilan episode made 13 year-old me so happy...

ANYWAYS

1. Cilan, Chili, and Cress series. BECAUSE I LOVE THEM AND BECAUSE I CAN. It would be more comedic than anything, but still heartfelt.

2. Replace Journeys with a series about Allister, Gordie, Melony, and Bea. It would follow their dealing with the fame and stress that comes with Gym Leader life, and balancing their Pokémon Trainer duties with time as a family.

3. Make the Isle of Armor a full-fledged series about how Klara and Avery navigate life at the dojo, learn how to interact kindly with others, and ultimately become famous Gym Leaders.

Oh man... Pokemon has Sooo much potential to be even more. First of all I will only touch up on Pokemon but acknowledge that it is part of an even bigger world... Nintendo.

Disney+ has the right idea and so I would go so far as to say there should be a Nintendo SS (Streaming Service)... with series about Super Mario, Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Super Smash Bros. (Which Pokemon are involved).

And in it I would def. continue the anime with Ash and Co. on that service. I would keep it rated for kids viewing

Another Anime would be started for the more mature folks following the protagonistic trainers from each game series (Red in Kanto season, Ethan in Johto season, etc.)

I would also have a reality TV show involving the TCG.

Also a competition reality TV show based off Pokemon.

Just freelancing here don't mind me.

EDIT: And yes I know about Pokemon TV but it is quite limited.

Change journeys to then spending ten different episodes in one region at a time. Define more clear steps towards Goh's dream and achievements. Make Ash show all of his team and give them all spotlight not just lucario. Make Goh carry different pokemon constantly but always have one galar starter with him.
Bring back old rivals like Stephan Hau Alain Iris and Gary way earlier in fact bring back more gym leaders to for the PWC. Have the series have more overaching plots.
Ignore Koharu
Give ash a couple of new rivals
Give Goh a ideological challenge maybe later on switch to him wanting to study pokemon.
Give the other two professor aides some development

How to fix Iris
1. Start off at the beginning with her, with Ash and Cilan as experienced trainers there is a need for a newer trainer to prevent Ash regressing in character and progression to fill that void
2. Forget Excadrill, give her Deino and have Hydreigon be disobedient. Showing off that Dragon types aren't easy to raise and giving her something to work towards until BW 2 promotion starts and other Dragons can be brought in since Unova only has three aside from the legendary Pokemon.
3. Axew evolves all the way, evolving into Haxorus during the battle with Drayden at the end.
4. Shiny Druddigon appears earlier on with or without Claire, and she gets it.
5. She and Ash battle for the 8th and final badge. Iris is offered the role of Gym Leader by her father figure but turns it down, deciding that she'll enter the next Unova League competition as a competitor, getting inspired by seeing Ash compete throughout the saga(and BW 2 reference)
6. Flygon and Kingdra fill out the remainder of her team due to their less prominent roles in comparison to Salamence, Dragonite, and Garchomp. Skrelp/Dragalge finishes the team for Kalos promo
7. She attempts to battle Drasna in XY, loses and decides to stay and train under her for a bit before heading back to Unova

Me @ the world right now....
So I was watching XY the series again with my sister as she found a new place to watch it and insisted to watch it again, so I got a nice refresher. They take too much time on COTDs than their actual cast at times.

If showcases must be the thing that Serena's going to do, then I'll do this:
  • Serena joins the group at episode 2 at the latest, I realized it took episode 7(4? I forgot which) before Serena officially joined the group, which is too long for no reason.
  • Serena discovers showcases even earlier than when Shauna tells her and meets Shauna while watching an exhibition show rather than a summer camp.
  • The childhood crush is cute, but I feel it would be a lot better to just develop her relationship with Ash as her first friendship with someone (as canonically she just moved), rather than a crush.
  • Develop Miette as Serena's most competitive rival, sort of like this series Paul (not in terms of personality but skill and motive). I realized that her character played off nice with Serena, so I'll keep that.
  • Have males be able to compete in the showcases as well.
  • Have six keys to earn instead of three.
  • Have her catch more Pokemon and get Eevee earlier, maybe a dragalge and a meowstic?
  • Serena is a lot more reserved than I thought when I rewatched the series, so I'd start here and Clemont's relationship on that and add new interests. Serena seemed to know a bit about Kalos culture like Clemont, so their common interest could be history and stuff.
That's all I got on the top of my head.

For the Journey's series

Goh's goal would be to complete the Galar Dex rather than the complete Pokedex. That would make it much easier to track progress and it would also mean they could space out the captures.

Ash's would also need all 8 Galar badges to enter the Master League.

Ash's rival would be Bede.

Much more would take place in Galar so more dynamax.

Ash would occasionally use Z-moves given that he is the Alola champion.

Ash would get a mega stone from Korrina and learn to use it later on. Go would also get the same but would struggle with it a bit more (as his Pokemon are less individually trained)

The whole Externatus thing would be at the end of the series rather than early on as the series would slowly build to it.

Goh and Ash would have attended the same prof Oak's camp which was the same one Ash met Serena. Though I wouldn't have had them become friends at that point given the size of the camp they could have at least had that as a foundation of both remembering the event

All Ash's Alola Pokemon would move to Oaks lab at the end of the series.

Chloe would have a more defined story.

Ash would re-encounter some of the pokemon he previously had (Pidgeot, Primeape, Squirtle, Greninja, and Dawn's Ambipom)

This sounds cool if Journeys was a galar oriented series but I kinda prefer it being a world series instead tbh
Do hope some things like Ash using Z moves, getting mega evolutions etc happened

While I like some of these ideas, I feel that Serena would've turned out to be a Hikari clone if the writers had followed this format. I do like the idea of her needing six TryPokaron keys instead of just three, however.

I kind of want one of Ash's Pokemon to die and at the hands of Chairman Rose so that Ash can experience loss and sorrow and have some sense of revenge. It would make the anime so intense.

No it is way too dark for the Pokémon as whole.

I also reject the notion that pain and loss is a great heroic motivator in the first place.

If it done well then i would be okay but in pocket monsters ? Naah can't see it work that well.

This is something that I'd like to do as I'm a Daredevil fan, a trainer with a Lucario partner whose blind but can still see 'aura' similar to how Matt Murdock can see with soundwaves. He's still very much blind but he can see/sense people and Pokemon by reading their auras. Essentially being a 'Blaziken Mask' but less random(Seriously did they even explain why he did that? lol )

I eventually scrapped the concept as my Lucario trainer already has a disability(aspergers, part of why he's the same age as Ash is despite starting off now) and it felt forced slapping something else on, so I made a Psychic specialist villain blind instead and he's actually a menacing one and not a joke like a lot of my antagonists who mostly exist as a foil for Chloe and the new trainer without being inconsistent on powerscaling by letting Eevee or Scorbunny kick Drednaw's behind. There's also a Pokemon Hunter with a robotic arm that's been modified to shoot the gun J had...

So yeah I guess I'm trying to say is I'd add a few characters with disabilities but not in a way that's forced or making it their entire character like a show on CW would do. "Oh look the guy has an artificial arm" just brush that over and treat him like an actual character afterwards, same with romance. If say a character likes Ash, don't mention it every other episode like Serena's crush on Ash(I'm sure I'm overexaggerating but that's what it felt like).

Oh and EVERY returning main character would get MULTIPLE episodes. Even the ones I do NOT like at all like Lana. Stuffing the Alola companions(Will anyone other than Lillie even return again?) and Iris into a singular episode just sucked, especially since it feels like the rule isn't going to apply to everyone *glances at Gary and Dawn* Blatant Favoritism... >_> (They're mine too but come on! -__- )

Everyone deserves at least two episodes
Journies would also be treated as Ash's end with Chloe and Eevee being groomed to replace him
And legends/mythicals that originally got skipped over due to movies hogging them would get a focus episode. No Celebi episodes whatsoever, it had it's time! Victini and Marshadow are owed some spotlight
Oh and Snap 2 episode! Todd Snap returns and wants to take a picture of Galarian Articuno, reference to his previous appearance. Rita is introduced as his friend and assistant

OS

-Ash gets a Slowpoke, which will continue with him until Johto when he becomes a Slowking
-More Gary appearances and battles
-There would be some kind of contests focused on water type for Misty
-Focus on the battle tower

AG

-Ash uses Glalie during the Battle Frontier
-Max gets Ralts
-Jessie wins a contest
-May stops receiving help in some contests

DP

-Torterra gets better results in the Sinnoh League
-Battle Frontier Mini Arc

BW

-Actually, nothing

XY

-Serena catches a female Pikachu in the last episodes
-1 more episode in the Kalos League
-Miette is a better rival
-Ampharos for Clemont

SM

-Sun appears in the main anime and Lillie who is my favorite character in the games, wouldn't be such a bad character
-Hau is not stolen
-3 vs 3 in the semifinals and 5 vs 5 in the final in Alola League
-more battles
-Ash catches a morelull

JN

-I don't even know where to start
