First thing I would do is before Ash left for Johto, I would have scrapped Misty and Brock and replaced them with Jimmy and Marina ( Well, some girl, since I don't think Marina was created yet when Johto was just beginning). It would have made johto a little bit better imo.

-Okay... the Johto cast would be Ash, Misty, and Brock. Marina can appear once Pokemon Crystal arrives. Based on when it came in Japan (December 2000), maybe she could appear in the episode after the special Mewtwo Returns (also aired in December 2000). Maybe she could also appear at the Battle Tower near Olivine City, since I could make that appear as well.

-Also, I would not have that episode have the Japanese title "Pikachu and Pichu" after having that third mini-movie which, in Japan, was called, "Pichu and Pikachu." That's something that I don't think anyone's brought up. Ironically, the episode with the Japanese title "Pikachu and Pichu" came after Mewtwo Returns, which I mentioned earlier.

-Misty would win the Whirl Cup, if I hadn't mentioned that earlier.

-In some important competition, if Ash/some other main character were to lose to some random dude in a tournament, I'd like that dude to continue winning more matches in a tournament then lose to the final round (compared to losing the very next match).

-The star for the 13th movie would be Ho-oh. Why not, eh? I'm not expecting some special secret to be revealed about the Ho-oh that bothers to keep showing itself in front of Ash every so often, so another Ho-oh might as well star in a movie.

-A.J. would meet Paul. Paul would observe his methods. Also, A.J.'s meeting with Paul wouldn't be his first return in the show.

-I'd have given Sabrina a more decent loss, IMO. Ash would still get pity badges from Brock and Misty, BUUUUUUUUT while he's training for the league, Ash would battle both of them (one at a time) and beat them fair and square, to show that he's officially earned the badges. So it's like a sort of payback for what happened earlier.

i would make them have a battle in the sinnho league and whoever wins gets to face Cynthia. That would be awsome!

Out of curiosity, who would win? Or does it matter?

1. Have Ash get hit on the head by soething and finally wise up to Misty's feelings for him.

Ash orders pidgeotto to hit onyx with steel wing which lands a hit and then wing attack ash orders pidgeotto to finish it with aerial ace but onyx smashes it with iron tail.

Pikachu vs Onyx _ Onyx tries Iront tail but ash orders pikachu to run up onyx,s body with quick attack which lands a hit brock orders onyx to rap pikachu with wrap. But pikachu paralyzes it with static ash orders pikachu to end it with Iron tail onyx is defeated.

Pikachu vs Rhyhorn - Brock orders rhydon to use take down ash orders thunderbolt but it has no effect ash then orders quick attack but pikachu goes flying. And is unablee to battle.

Bulbasaur vs Rhyhorn - After a intense battle bulbasaur manages to defeat rhyhorn with its newly learned bullet seed.

Ash vs Misty

Squirtle vs Goldeen - Ash uses squirtle against goldeen ash orders squirtle to use rapid spin but goldeen takes under the water. ash orders squirtle to pursue it but squirtle gets jabbed by posion jab. Misty orders goldeen to go with aqua tail but ash tells squirtle to use bite on goldeens tail and then spin with rapid spin goldeen is sent flying up and unable to battle . Ash recalls squirtle to take a rest.

Pikachu vs Dewgong - Pikachu uses quick attack but dewgong uses dive to go underwater. Ash orders pikachu to stay alert and wait for dewgong the water rumvbles and dewgong leaps out riding a giant ash warns pidgeotto to look out and run into the wave with volt tackle. Misty ordrers dewgong to counter with aqua jet there is a collison and both are unable to battle.

Squirtle vs Starmie - Ash orders squirtle to use aqua jet but misty orders starmie to finish it up with thunderbolt. Squirtle takes alot of damage and is unable to battle.

Pidgeotto vs Starmie - Pidgeotto is sent out against starmie ash orders pidgeottto to use its new move brave bird . But misty orders starmie to dodge ash orders pidgeotto to bring itself back up. Starmie uses Ice Beam on pidgeotto,s wings and then thunderbolt and pidgeootto goes crashing into the pool. Misty then orders starmie to use whirlpool which pidgeotto gets trap into its wings still frozen. Ash then orders pidgeotto to use double team to break free . Ash then orders quick attack and fly pass starmie And then turn with brave bird pidgeotto nails it head on and starmie goes flying into the wall unable to battle.

Ash vs LT. Surge

Charmander vs Magneton - Charmander uses its flamethrower attack but magnetonn counters with its charge beam. Which causes smoke to fill the air surge orders magneton to use zap cannon but charmander uses fire spin and spins causing a fire tornado. The elctricity goes around it surge then order magneton to go in it and use thunder the charmander uses fire fang to counter the tornado is gone and magneton is unable to battle and charmander is paralyzed badly. And withdraweed

Bulbasaur vs Electabuzz _ Electabuzz uses light screen attack to start off bulbasaur goes for energy ball but it has no effect electabuzz easily wins with fire punch,

Charmander vs Electabuzz - Charmander is still paralyzed but not about to give up yet
electabuzz goes for thunderpunch but charmander manages to dodge and delivers a fire fang. And another after that surge orders electabuzz to use psychic on charmander and then focus punch but charmander conters with slash but it is knocked out.

Pikachu vs Electabuzz - Pikachu defeats electabuzz with little effort with Iron tail and thunderbolt.

- Retire Dawn as soon as Ash is finished in Sinnoh
- Bring in Lucas, Leaf (FR/LG Girl), or Brendan
- Feature May or Max in a Pokemon Chronicle Episode (Her adventure in Johto, or starting his adventure respectively)
- Feature PC some more (Stopped in Mid-Advanced, nice to see it again)
- USe a more original plot for futher episodes
- Cut-down on the Characters of the Day, or give some a partily larger role
- Feature Tracey, Misty, and Ritchie more

I don't remember much of the Kanto/Johto series so I don't have much to change but I know I'd have Gary pop up and battle Ash more than he did.

I agree with the Chronicle Episode idea...so much to write for Johto...so much.<3 (Sorry, getting off track again...) Max's beginning of his adventure would be interesting as well. And more game character like Wally, Brendan, Leaf, etc. even if they're CoTD Pretty much I could re-write everything the person above me said.

I've already answered this in another thread. Things I would do is:

- Keep the old voice actors
- Show all the banned episodes (I would edit the Porygon episode getting rid of the flashes completely)
- Show the anime in the way it was meant to be shown (Misty slapping Ash, Squirtle threatening to kill Misty, keep Jynx in and other things what feature in the Japanese version but not the English dub).

b) Ash would've gotten his Marsh Badge after the Rainbow and Soul Badges, like one does in the games

If I were in charge:

Kanto/OI:
-No Pity Badges and no interruption during the Fuschia Gym Battle
-Only Lapras would have been released, the others would have been oaked
-Anime exclusive characters for Ash's traveling companions
-Gary and Ash would have battled a few times prior to the league
-Inclusion of the Rest of Team Rocket at certain points
-Giovanni eventually disbands Team Rocket and Jessie and James go to Johto to recreate it
- Charizard's dissobediance storyline is resolved during the regional run (extra episodes would be added to make this worthwhile)
- Ash still loses to Ritchie in the league after a long battle(Charizard vs. Charizard)

Johto:
- Male traveling companion accomplishes their goal and leaves group at end of OI
- Tracy joins at this point
-Girl traveling companion brings one or two Pokemon with her to new region
- Ash does a fresh start for Johto
-Ash Gains Silver as a rival
- GSC Team Rocket Plot plays out similar to games
- Ash beats Silver and Gary in the league but still loses to Harrison
- Johto team is developed more and one of them stars against Claire

Hoenn/Kanto BF:
- Tracy dropped New male traveling companion introduced
- Female traveling companion replaced by May
-Max does not travel with the group
- rest of saga plays out the exact same way with more appearances from Magma and Aqua as well as a four part Groudon vs. Kyogre saga.

Sinnoh:
- same mostly except Lucas(who would be Rowan's aid) serves as the other traveling companion alongside Dawn
- Galactic appearance at Valley Windworks and the Eternia Warehouse

If I was in charge, Ash would've caught.. I'm okay with what he caught, actually.
Brock should've stayed with Forretress.
Everyone should have their voices from Hoenn.
Dawn should get a slightly less high voice.
Blaziken should've protected May from some near-death out-of-control Fire Blast thing.
Barry should permanetly (unless he has) teamed up with the Group.
Barry should catch a Hitmonlee.
Ash's should run into Butterfree.
Jasmine should make an appearence either when they reach Sunyshore, or after the tournament (after tournament is to tell him about "Johto Battle Frontier")
Eee. This part I really like.
When Ash is in...let's say the middle of the Battle Frontier...MAX AND MAY MAKE AN APPEARANCE!
And he has Ralts with him! He'd be about 8. And to my understanding, you can only enter tournaments/Gym battles when your 10 or older. Nothing about battles.
So...Max's Ralt's versus Ash's Pikachu!
Ralts gets owned.
