If you were in the fantastical world of Pokemon, what would you find yourself doing as a trainer?

I would probably keep a party full of Pokemon and become a breeder, or battle locally for the most part. I love gym battles and the challenge, but going through a pilgrimage at my age seems a bit terrifying. Unless you call that college. :p

If you were a Gym Leader/Elite Four, what is/are your type(s) that you'll specialize on? And how would the layout of your battlefield be like?

Despite my real life fear of ghosts and the dark, they absolutely fascinate me. Ghost pokemon in particular exude a mysticism that I enjoy a lot. Froslass, Mismagius, Spiritomb, and others have a lot of story behind them. Type preferences reflect personality, so I wonder what that means about me?

As for my battlefield, I might have it set in the form of a faux haunted house, with plenty of shadows, candle-lights, and a gothic-romantic feel to it. The method of winning is utilizing the environment, not "chickening out", as well as predicting where the ghosts will appear via poltergeist, apparitions, mist, secret passages and "clues" laying around telling a chilling story of the location. Just imagine! Rotom surging through the wires, Froslass lurking in the freezer room, Gengar watching in your shadows, the 108 spirits of Spiritomb sending the challenger into a state of confusion and disorientation, and don't forget about Bannette posessing and animating the creepy little dolls you find that talk and watch your ever move. :D

If you were the challenger of the gym/elite four challenge, how will you react? I'd be scared to death. :p

Gym Leader/Elite Four: I wouldn't be becuase I porobably be the most laziest trainer in the world XD.

I would want to become a pokemon master. No, not really. But I would want a few Pokemon as friends. It would be cool having a few legendaries.

I'd be going for the same as Ash in the animé I think...

Gym Leader/Elite Four: Either Ice types or Psychic types! Love those types!

Challenger: I would go on, even if I got trouble...I just had to keep trying!

Master Mewtwo

Legendary Pokémon Coordinator
If I were a trainer. One who would capture each and every type of Pokemon. I would not go after and Legends. I would try to befriend them, but not capture them. I know that there are one of a kind and that taking them from their specific environment would throw off the delicate balance of nature.

If I were to become an Elite Four or even a Champion my team would be very well rounded. Covering all types of advantages and going after your own disadvantages. I room would be a tower into the sky, and once you reach the top a wide open platform with nothing to protect you from falling.

If I were to challenge the Elite Four I know I would be more then ready to beat them because of all the over training I would do.

Master Mewtwo

Blue Shiny Pikachu 1

Fly So High!!!
I will take every challenge and catch every Pokemon in the world.

As a trainer I would probably stay local and breed, although eventually I would venture out to see the world and collect all the pokemon (minus a few that I dont like *Heatran*). First I would be working on pokemon-cloning technology for some of those one of a kinds that I like, so pokemon breeding/training would not be as important as it is in the game.

I would reintroduce the Normal-Type gym, although you can bet some of my pokemans would have different typing.

As the challenger, I would absolutely destroy my local gym (I would divert time from cloning tech to do this), and I would do so repeatedly, until I figured out how it is people acquire gyms. Then, I would transform that gym into my Normal type gym and exile the previous leader to a different region, etc.

I might try my hand at Contests. I think I'd be pretty good at them. If I ever became a gym leader I would use Water Pokemon.

If you were in the world of Pokemon, what would you find yourself doing?

Battles. I love them. The strategy involved and the sheer thrill of it. Haha. I would have so many different pokemon. I woud probably only catch my favorites. So...I guess not THAT many, but I would still have a decent amount. I would have my main teams, my 6 pokemon from each region...and my side teams. I would probably also do contests. That battle part of contests gives battles a whole new look, and appealing is creativity, so I would hopefully do well in both. I would focus more on battling though.

If you were a Gym Leader/Elite Four, what is/are your type(s) that you'll specialize on? And how would the layout of your battlefield be like?

Good question. NO idea. I hate specializing in one type. It's so boring to me. The closest I've done is having a team full of 'baby' pokemon. Aipom ( I know it's not a baby, but still), Bonsly, Mantyke, Munchlax, Mime Jr. and Phanpy. Haha. They kick BUTT. XD If I HAD to specialize...no...nevermind. I can't chose. I'djust be a Champion so I could have any type I so chose to be in my team. And I'd always be rotating out. That way it's never the same.

My super amazing battlefield? Um...no idea. Simple...with dark blue/black overtones. Maybe two, glowing blue rivers in dark rooms, winding and crossing through the rooms. The walls would be a dark blue, with black symbols on them, and the floor would be either dark tiles, or grass. The doors would be thick, heavy wood, that only open once the trainer in said room is defeated. I would have 4 trainers in my gym...so 4 rooms. They would all have 6 pokemon with a span of types. The final room, the rivers will meet and pass under the door, and when they come to the battle floor, they'll have to walk down stairs, the two glowing blue rivers (the only light, save for small blue lanterns lining the top of the gym) now waterfalls on either side. The waterfalls would fall downward and make the border of the battle platform as well as the pokeball and the center. So, imagine all the lines on a typical battle platform with glowing blue water, and a dark black (or purple) tiled platform. I would be waiting there. And there would be a tree on my side...huge and grand. XD And then I would walk out and fight. The water would add a nice element to the place, though I would probably only have one water pokemon. Mm. I like my gym. XD

If you were the challenger of the gym/elite four challenge, how will you react?

I'm not sure. I'd probably be SUPER nervous my first few times at a gym. But after a while, I'm sure it would turn to confidence and a certain arrogant act if I keep winning over and over. Though I'd always be mildly humbled by anyone I fight, because they're respected for being such good gym leades. For the Elite Four, I'm sure I'd be super calm, and determined, ready to battle my heart out, and give it my all. Same with my pokemon. By the time I woud reach the elite four, I would want my pokemon hardened by battle and strong without fear, but with a certain sense of awe, and proudness that they made it this far. Haha.

If you were in the fantastical world of Pokemon, what would you find yourself doing as a trainer? I think that I would go into pokemon contests. The amount of coordination and the end result would just look fantastic. I don't think that I'm cut out to be a competetive battler, but I think that I would do fine in the contest area.

If you were a Gym Leader/Elite Four, what is/are your type(s) that you'll specialize on? And how would the layout of your battlefield be like? Eh heh heh... I'd run a dragon type gym. The tasks would be centered on infuriatingly obvious solutions to a task. ie. running through an obstacle course when you could have just walked around it. The actual battlefield would be in a huge openair stadium with a lake, grass, trees, everything.

My team would consist of:

Flygon (F)
Kingdra (M)
Salamence (M)
Dragonite (M)
Garchomp (M)

If you were the challenger of the gym/elite four challenge, how will you react?

Eh. I don't think that I'd make that big of a deal, just go through, make a dumb mistake, lose, be congratulated on getting that far, blah blah blah...
Then come back next year with my awesomely trained pokemon to beat the living c*** out of them.

Pedobear knows all..
If I were and E4 member, I would definitely have a flying team, consisting of:

Aerodactyl
Xatu
Moltres
Togekiss
Zapdos

Giratina93

King of the Koopas
If I were a Gym Leader, I would design my gym be somewhat similar to Whitney's, only instead of a Clefairy, it would be in the shape of a Groudon, with 8 trainers all over the place. I'd specialize in Ground types, and I'd be ready to lay waste to challengers who came to my gym...
The TM I'd give uot would be TM Earthquake.

Team:
lv. 47Hippowdon (Earthquake, Slackoff, Yawn, Stealth Rocks)
lv. 48 Gliscor (Earthquake,Baton Pass, Ice Fang, Swords Dance)
lv. 48 Quagsire (Recover, Earthquake, Ice Punch, Waterfall)
lv. 50 Rhyperior (Rock Polish, Megahorn, Earthquake, Rock Wrecher)
lv. 52 Flygon {Life Orb} (U-Turn, Outrage, Earthquake, Roost)

Please rate and comment...

Now, If I was a trainer, I'd become a Dragon Tamer and challenge Gym Leaders, while battlnig other normal trainers...

Trainer: doing gym battles and leagues

Gym leader: I'd run a Grass type gym. Grass is my favorite type.

All sound so fun! Specializing in a type really helps since in my mind, similar types are easier to train because they have a similar method or mentality in their approach in using attacks. Somewhat like the difference between understanding marine animals and animals that live in the mountains. They have more characteristics in common with each other than the opposing group, so it is somewhat easier to understand what is needed to raise them.

Like most water types swim and utilize water, so if you master teaching them that, its much easier to teach many as opposed to teaching fire breathing as well. Another example, its easier to train only dogs than to train cats, dogs, dolphins, and monkeys.

If you were in the fantastical world of Pokemon, what would you find yourself doing as a trainer?
Breding, then figuring out how ev training is done in real life...train according to my standards...then rape my way to glory with several team assembles...just what i do on my cartridges...

If you were a Gym Leader/Elite Four, what is/are your type(s) that you'll specialize on? And how would the layout of your battlefield be like?
Instead of a type ill chose a battling strategy consisting in pure residual damage and annoying the team will vary on my mod...the battlefield something flat made out of steel with small pounds of ground and rocks surrounded by water and an open ceiling for weather effects to appear. Again style not annoying ******** like aim 4 the horn stuff.

If you were the challenger of the gym/elite four challenge, how will you react?
Just like in every normal battle i face in wi-fi...expecting the worst of your foe thinking they are the strongest battle you will face in your life(even if they are total noobs) and force yourself to do things rigth and fair to win with the simple motto of: "no mercy, till the end and to never surrender! ".

I would be a typical trainer I guess, going around challenging gym leaders/ trainers. But I think my biggest goal would be to catch at least one of each dragon-type Pokemon in the world. After a while, I'd probably want to be a researcher.

If you were a Gym Leader/Elite Four, what is/are your type(s) that you'll specialize on? And how would the layout of your battlefield be like?
Dragon-types but I don't want to limit my team to just dragons, I mean, one talented ice type and I'd be finished.
I guess the battlefield would be similar to a mountain terrain with pillars, rocks and just mini-mountains rising up on nearly all sides. Open ceiling to allow for Dragonite, Flygon and the like to be able to fly.

If you were the challenger of the gym/elite four challenge, how will you react?
I'd be scared for the first few times. I can imagine myself pacing outside their gym before finally forcing myself to go in. But after a while, I guess I'd just get used to that feeling?
