what would you have liked to have seen the teams as? i mean, if they didnt have the starter they have, or just other minor changes. go for it:

ash - swampert, nuzleaf/shiftry, swellow, pikachu, glalie, torkoal, and wouldve caught nosepass, numel/camerupt, kecleon and weavile at some point too.

may - torchic/combusken, beautifly, delcatty, bellossom, bonsly, clamperl/gorebyss

brock - treecko/grovyle, ludicolo, crobat, geodude, munchlax

jesse - seviper, dustox, kecleon, corphish(the annoying one - wobbuffet sucks - it cuts and pinches her hair)

james - cacturne, duskull, trapinch (eventually evolves but with james' crappy trainerness, disobeys and is saved by a dragon tamer)
