Okay, for the moment this fic is PG-13 atm. But it may get R later on, may not. Depends on how the plot evolves while writing this. Yes this is a pairing fic, but that's not the only part of the plot, so I don't want to deal with the hastle of posting it anywhere but here. That and I don't want like 50 people reviewing just because it has one pokemon or another as part of the pairing.

Chapter One: Introduction of the Illusionist

-

~

-

She'd been alone for an eternity it felt like. Her brother was long dead, having been so protective about his only little sister, he died to save her from humans that had invaded their little island home. And ever since, Latias had found herself wandering over the lands, having fled from the human dubbed Hoenn, to a dry and deserted place of Orre, and from there when things turned from bad to dangerous for anything pokemon, Latias went to another land; Johto.

Her illusionary feet seemed to strike the cement sidewalk without abandon as she ‘walked’ through the city, head bowed slightly as reddish/silver hair was pulled into a braid and a a blue hat overshadowed her golden eyes that looked far older than her illusionary human body should hold. Hands clasped before her, and wearing a simple dress, the Latias-hiding-as-Human continued on her trek, which apparently would take her through Goldenrod and to Ilex forest. She was trying to reach Celebi, to see if the time traveler knew anything about the location of her kind, if there were others of her kind.

Latias was so tired of being alone.

So lost in her thoughts was she, the golden eyed beauty didn't see the human road block before her untill she ungracefully slammed into them, nearly knocking herself down as it felt like the young female had slammed head first into a brick wall. Slightly dazed, she wobbled a bit as a wolf whistle sounded in the air.

“Well, lookie here boys, we got ourselves a real looker,”

A few ‘hurhurs’ resounded in the air and Latias lifted her head a bit, light gold eyes burning from the fright that caused them to widen also, the three thugs were in light grey suits with blaring R's of violet on the chests of their shirts and they all sported wicked smiles and looks in their eyes.

Latias made to move back, but the one she had slammed into reached out as fast as lightning, and grabbed her arm. Even if she wasn't human, the illusion held fast and made it seem it was a human arm the thug had grabbed, and not her own. Flinching in pain as the thug's grip tightened enough to even cause her armor to nearly squeak from the pressure, Latias bit down on her lower lip to keep from crying out. As her voice wouldn't be a human's.

The thug grinned as he pulled the young girl forward, grabbing her by her hair and pulled her head back; which meant he really had grabbed an ear and caused further pain to the Latias. Latias was powerless, she could protect herself, yes, but that would give herself away as a pokemon, and she'd be hunted down. Latias almost hadn't escaped Orre or Hoenn, and now ... now she was far from the sea and doomed.

Tears pricked her eyes as a leacherous grin filled the expression of the thug that was holding her, and a small, fearfull whimper escaped Latias as his head started to bow, bringing his face closer to hers; and Latias wished there had been someone out walking during this time of night...

And it seemed her prayers were answered as what seemed to be a rock came flying out of nowhere and smacked into the guys forhead, and a rough, almost seemingly unused voice snarled out; “Pikachu, Meowth, get them!”

Two cries came from the mouse and cat pokemon, as they seemed to appear from the darkness of the allyway and slam into the other two as the rock to the forehead of the guy holding her, caused the thug to let Latias go, and quickly she fled out of arms reach of the thug- And into the one that had saved her. Seemed Latias needed to get her eyes checked, but now wasn't the time as she felt herself shifted to behind the tall human male as he commanded his pokemon to attack again before he whirled, grabbed her wrist carefully, called to the Pikachu and Meowth before running off; dragging the seemingly human girl with him as a Pikachu, a little lighter in yellow color with slight spikes of black spiked down from the ebony that tipped it's ears, while the Meowth seemed to be normal in appearence.

And quickly the four disappeared into the night as the thugs picked themselves up, one hissing in pain as the Meowth had bit him. Repeatedly. The other just sported an afro now from a few thundershocks curtisy of the Pikachu. The thug that had the rock thrown to his forehead snarled and pulled out a walkie talkie, “Boss.... we located him.” He muttered into the device.

Sexorific!
Renegade...how many new fics have you come out with in the past month XD

I'm gonna run a commentary...

And ever since, Latias had found herself wandering over the lands, having fled from the human dubbed Hoenn, to a dry and deserted place of Orre, and from there when things turned from bad to dangerous for anything pokemon, Latias went to another land; Johto.

It's probably better not to start with And, and I don't like how you structured this sentence; it just didn't feel write.

Latias bit down on her lower lip to keep from crying out. As her voice wouldn't be a human's.

That should be combined I believe. It doesn't really work with a period between in anyway

The thug grinned as he pulled the young girl forward, grabbing her by her hair and pulled her head back

Eh, it would sound better if you made pulled into pulling to flow with grabbing

reach of the thug- And into the one that had saved her.

Shouldn't And be uncapitlized there?

Seemed Latias needed to get her eyes checked, but now wasn't the time as she felt herself shifted to behind the tall human male as he commanded his pokemon to attack again before he whirled, grabbed her wrist carefully, called to the Pikachu and Meowth before running off; dragging the seemingly human girl with him as a Pikachu, a little lighter in yellow color with slight spikes of black spiked down from the ebony that tipped it's ears, while the Meowth seemed to be normal in appearence.

Too much to swallow at once. Run-on sentence.

The thug that had the rock thrown to his forehead snarled and pulled out a walkie talkie, “Boss.... we located him.” He muttered into the device.

I think since it would be better to leave the chapter hanging at that dialogue for effect, so maybe you should put the fact he muttered into the device before the dialogue.

^^^^Those are my suggestions for structural and grammatical changes. Overall, this seems to be pretty interesting. How did Latios die? Are the worlds in chaos? I don't really like using Team Rocket as a villain, but I suppose they fit best with the mood from what I can tell. I'm guessing they were planning on raping her or something? Description was ok, but some of them were put into places where it didn't really fit like the Pikachu's in that big sentence I pointed out. I always thought of Latias actually completely transforming, you presented that it was just an illusion. Very nice. Hopefully, the guy who saved her isn't Ash (altoshipping???) and this will be a very interesting fic.

Sandra: Yes, yes I do. >.>' but when I get bored and get a sudden inspired idea, it's dangerous. Especially since I am now posting Chap 2.

Ice King: To answer the fic question; 15. How many I actually wrote: 6, or 7. ... think seven. Anyways, no it's not Altoshipping, and yes Team Rocket is needed for this, it plays a part, and does fit the 'mood', I'm not going to outright say who the person is but I'm going to give hints as to who he could be through out the chapters untill I do reveal his identity. Though it shouldn't be too hard with future chapters. And yeah chap one could have been worded better, but I wanted to get the idea out onto paper, or in this case note pad before the plot twisted on me, or decided to try and make it a wierder pairing than it already is.

I might go into how Latios died, but it probably won't happen in this fic, or in any soon to be chapters. Might make it a one shot but not entirely sure.

Anyways, on with the next chapter!

.. Sandra is right, I write way too fast.

Chapter Two: The Black Flower & The White Knight

~

-

‘Boss we located him.’

It sounded like sugar on her ears, and felt like a redemption to her soul.

The person in question sat in a chair behind a desk, that wasn't quiet that big or that small. It held a laptop computer and a few strewn about items, which included a small clock that told the time/date, and some other things. But that wasn't important. What was important was the blue eyed blonde beauty that called the desk and this room her own. Locationed somewhere in Goldenrod's underground, the blonde beauty had been waiting for what felt like an eternity as her little near mindless minions and lackies ran around above ground searching for the prize.

As dangerous as she was beautifull, this woman was to not be under-estimated unless you wanted to be taken down from your high horse and thrown into her dungeon. Where she gladly would keep you untill the end of time as she was cruel, cold and calculating.

Though she did have loves; power and money. The more money you had, the more power you could get, which lead to more money. Then power. A vicious never ending cycle that could burn people out if they weren't carefull. But she was, she had been, always. And she knew the game so well that this agent of Team Rocket was well on her way of earning a promotion.

If she could catch one little thorn in Giovanni's side.

And it rang in her ears like honey as the words drifted through her mind once more; ‘Boss we located him.’. One of the teams had finally located him once again. Finally; after all this time, she could ‘bloom forth’ into the world and snatch the proverbial moon beam that was her prey.

‘I tricked him once,’ she gloated to herself as she stood up, eyes gleaming with lust of the hunt of this prey, ‘I can trick him again.’

Laughter fell from her lips, sounding almost like a heavenly chime, and could have confused anyone; for how could such a lovely sound come from someone so full of malice and hate towards creatures and humans. How could something that didn't care what she harmed in her way to her goals, produce such beautifull notes of happiness?

No one really knew how it was possible for evil to always be able to sugar coat itself in such a manor. And no one was about to ask this devil in disguse what her trade secrets were for her talents. Because none of them dared think to anger the Black Tulip. For those that did, never lasted very long in this world.

Running. Fleeing. Hiding.

This seemed all he did now, but the man wasn't complaining as he pulled along his new found charge by the wrist. The young woman hadn't so much as let out a peep during the near eternal flight through the darkness. Even her breathing was shallow and soft when they hid in the shadows to escape prying eyes of several more of the thugs with the R's on their chest.

Heart thundering in his ears, he almost called himself crazy for risking his own life like this, he should have left the human to the Rockets, but he couldn't bring himself to such a thing. No matter if it could have been a trap for him or not. It wasn't in his nature now to let something be hurt on his account. He had shown this before and he would continue to show the streak of selflessness evermore.

Trying to find enough moisture in his mouth to swallow, the soft violet haired man glanced to the shorter and evidently very frightened young woman he had saved before looking to where she was staring, and just caught sight of another thug trio walking by on the other side of the street.

‘****,’ he swore to himself, letting bright cerulean blue eyes snap to the right and left, ‘like beedrill now, disturb a few and the whole colony goes into a riot,’ the man continued to grumble to himself as he tugged the teenager along behind him. Without protest she came, feeling safer with this nameless stranger than alone on the streets.

Once they were far from the ally's entrance, the man let go of her wrist, but made a motion for her to stay close, then glanced to the Pikachu. “A little light if you please?” He asked softly to the Pikachu that was at his feet. The mouse flicked his strangely marked ears back once, black button like eyes narrowing slightly before he let out a small ‘Pika’ and fell onto all fours, red cheeks sparking with soft hissing sounds before with a small pop, a white-ish/yellow aura surrounded him in a soft glow and gave everyone a better light source than the cresent moon that was out tonight.

Looking around uneasily for a moment, he made a motion for Pikachu and Meowth to stay with the girl as he moved farther into the ally, heading for the opening to another street that lay several more yards away.

The girl watched him go before her center of focus was shifted by the Meowth as it stretched and rubbed against her legs, arching his back slightly, begging silently to be picked up and held. A disgusted sounding ‘Pikachu’ came from the glowing mouse as he moved over to beside a dumpster to hide some of the light he was providing from intrusive eyes.

The silent teenager followed the Pikachu as the Meowth trailed behind her, then jumped into her lap when the girl sat down, before purring softly as the girl seemed to understand the silent begger and scratched his ears, before rubbing the fur on his head and back, earning a soft ‘Meow’ from the feline pokemon.

“Pika.” The Pikachu said with a glare, ears flat and body language showing he didn't like what Meowth was doing. But Meowth could care less, their ‘Master’ never scratched him, and besides, the girl seemed to know what to do. Even if her jeans did feel a bit wierd to him, the Meowth didn't mind. It'd been awhile since anyone had scratched him.

This continued for a few more minutes, the Pikachu glaring at the Meowth, the cat ignoring the mouse, and the mute girl scratching the cat and glancing around nervously, as if expecting more thugs to appear and try to snatch her again.

Seconds ticked into minutes, which seemed to stretch into a never ending eternity, before finally and just as the Pikachu was starting to dim from using Flash for such an extended period, the young man came back, breathing harshly a little as he came to a halt before the young woman. Sweat also beaded upon his brow and helped show whatever he had done, it'd been tiring. Scowling a little at the Meowth, he shooed the cat from the girls' lap and offered her a hand. She hesitated a moment before taking the offer of help and he pulled her up, not really noticing how easy it had been, so distracted he was.

“I found a place where we should be safe, untill the morning. Then you can go on your own, alright?”

The girl made a motion with her free hand, and he blinked, before letting the arm he held go as she tugged on it, and once again made several motions with her hands, before it clicked. “You're mute?”

She seemed to hesitate a moment before nodding her head, which this bit of revelation to her condition earned an exasperated sigh from her champion, he closed his eyes a moment. This would make it harder to keep an eye on her, as if she couldn't speak, he wouldn't know if she needed something, as he didn't want to let anything slip up like before. “Atleast you're not deaf,” he groused and offered his hand again, to which the teenager took once more with only slight hesitation.

Turning his crisp blue eyes towards the Pikachu, he nodded his head once as the tired mouse let the glow drop and groaned a little from weariness. And from the fact he was still going to have to hustle it to keep up with his ‘Master’ and the human while the Meowth just seemed to gloat a little, knowing he'd never have to worry about being asked to become a nightlight. Once more, he tugged on her hand and started to carefully creep forward, always using the shadows to hide himself and his party as he started to lead them to an abandond warehouse he'd located. The Rockets had already swept through that area, so it should be safe untill the morning atleast.

Or so he hoped it would be, as the little group continued moving.

And here's the third chapter

Chapter Three: Illusion of Safety

-

~

-

Latias didn't protest as the human dragged her towards their hiding place, nor did she silently complain about being in the dark anymore. She felt a little bit safer now with this male, than she had on her own. But that didn't mean Latias really wanted to be with this person, she wanted to be free; out of this city and able to drop this lie from around her and fly free.

But that would come later, if ever, for Latias was fearing she wouldn't get out of this trap as the human half dragged her half lead her down the sidewalk closer to the building in question; a warehouse. Latias mused silently over what this could be as she folded her wings back as much as she could so they weren't in the way as she was pulled into another allyway and into the dark shadows that filled it. Ears flat against her skull, Latias had to bite down on her lip from saying anything, or letting any sort of noise escape her. She never liked the dark very much. But deep down she knew she had no other choice...

So she let the human with violet hair continue to lead her on. Never questioning, even with sign language, of what he was doing as he turned down another corner and shot into another allyway, with Pikachu and Meowth not far behind the duo as they fled.

“Not far,” he panted out before pausing to draw in a breath to continue to supply his needy body with air then continued; “almost there.” And he tried to reassure her with a slight squeeze to her hand, and unsure of what to do exactly, Latias mimiced the action back.

An eternity of running, dodging, ducking and diving later, Latias found herself outside of a very large building, and as Latias craned her neck back, she could barely make out some windows in the dingy grey walls, nearly twenty feet above her head. Looking back down, she found the human had let go of her hand and easily opened a large dulled red or brown door, Latias couldn't tell what color it'd been originally, even as she came over when the human beckoned her to do so.

He glances at the two pokemon at their feet, “Meowth, Pikachu, you first. Make sure it's still empty.”

“Meoowth,” Meowth purred out as he slipped into the building with a slightly irritated and muttering Pikachu behind him, leaving Latias and the human outside in the dark. Latias nervously glanced around, gold eyes widening again from the fear that slowly edged onto her mind. Infact she jumped, or atleast bobbed a bit when the violet haired man called for her attention.

Chuckling a little he reached out and patted her shoulder, trying to calm her down, “There there, everything is fine now. I'll keep you safe, don't worry.” He paused in speaking long enough to herd her to the door as Pikachu had shown up again, scowling up at his ‘master’ before letting out a small and slightly disgruntled ‘Pi, pika pikachu.’ And the man seemed to understand as he shooed the Pikachu from the entrance and half pushed/half lead Latias to the entrance and then into the building, pulling the door shut behind them.

Latias blinked a few times rapidly, trying to get her eyes to adjust to the gloom, as she could just make out the human as he moved away and seemed to be doing something. And a few seconds later she was shown what as dim light filtered into existence, it wasn't very bright, but there was alot of it as the human seemed to toss the lightly glowing sorces around, green, blue, orange and even a few purple sticks. They all glowed and Latias moved enough to scoop the closest one to her up, and held it up to eye level, and shook it slightly. The glow shifted and sloshed about, identifying itself as liquid, and Latias wondered how it did what it did.

But before she could let curiosity get the better of her and try to find out for herself (Latias was thinking what was in there was the same as whatever was in the orbs of the Lanturn and Chinchou she'd seen a long time ago) her questing was interupted as a large and soft object was tossed over herself, and it took all of her ability to not freak out as she pulled it off of her head, and blinked a few times. Just able to identify what her left hand held as a blanket.... with rainbow like pidgey's on a dark grey back ground.

“It's not much,” she heard him start to say, and glanced towards him as he contiunued, already digging into another crate for something else, “But ever since those dorks invaded, there's not been much inport or export around here.”

Tilting her head slightly, Latias tried to sign a go on, before realising her hands were full and the human was halfway into a crate. But it seemed he was going to continue speaking even without being prompted. “So it's become a survive off whatever you can find, game... for those still here that is.” He trailed off with a sigh as he pulled himself out of the crate, whatever he had been looking for was either long gone, or never had been in the crate to begin with.

“It's best we get some sleep while we can, then worry over eating in the morning.”

Latias almost sighed, she wouldn't have minded something to eat, but she could make do without nurishment for a few more hours, so just nodded her head and settled down on the floor after filching a few more of the glowing sticks. Laying the blanket down, Latias laid down on it, curling up slightly and closed her eyes. Not going to fall completely asleep, but enough to get some rest while she kept the illusion going.

The human paused in making his own 'bed', watching the seemingly human girl fall asleep for a moment before shaking his head slightly as he laid down on his own blanket also, Pikachu and Meowth quickly coming over and piling on in a rare chance of turning their master into their personal bed. The nameless human grumbled loudly for a few moments, but it was all for show, nothing more.

And as he drifted off, the pokemon were the only ones really left alert as they half snoozed, ears twitching or askew, showing they heard anything going on. But that was inside the building... outside it was a whole different matter entirely.

For if they had been able to hear what was walking up towards the door, they would have been waking their master and the girl up and trying to get them to flee. For the duo still remembered their old run in with this foe, even if it had been nearly five months ago.

The figure grinned wickedly while raising a hand up, and in it was a hard to identify object, as it was colored like night. And in the darkness, you could barely see it, let alone tell what it was. And then; as her hand obtained the backdrop of the building, you could identify it. A large black flower. Or rather; Tulip, was held in that right hand of hers.

“It's been a while, love,” she spoke softly and not very fondly; not to the flower, but just thinking aloud in general, “but you'll be back in my clutches soon enough.”

Now you see me...
First thing, Kudos for using Meowth.. I adore you for it. And this'll turn out to be an interesting pairing, if I do say so. I don't mind it - as you write very well, it's enjoyable to read.

Like Zephyr said in her review, those idiots got what they deserved, and more. I thought the boy was Ash at first.. but then I'm like 'What's he doing with a Meowth'.

But now, I don't think he is, even if he remains nameless.

And, as Christmas is tomorrow, I decided to do a little something for Christmas, for some of the writers here.

So, for you, I made a banner for your story.. you're free to use it if you wish, not. It's a little plain, I realize, but it's your choice whether or not you use it.

And the fourth chapter is done, now just to figure out what story of mine to update next XD

Rating; PG-13/R, gonna start leaning to R as the plot twisted on me. I blame Domino. My version of her seems to be twisted and evil and well >> yeah. Anyways, you're warned. After this chapter things might start getting R-ish more and more.

Chapter Four: Darkness Falls

-

~

-

All was still. And it seemed nothing stirred in the early morning darkness. And then all hell broke loose.

Grinning, Domino flicked her wirst back before sending it forward, a flash of black/purple energy zipped from the ebony flower in her hand to the door. For a second, time seemed to freeze. Then it imploded on itself with a giant crashing boom; sending the brown or red door flying forward. Several startled cries came from inside, and Domino grinned, knowing she had found the right warehouse.

“Boss!” One of her minions called out from a few yards away, Domino spared him a glance before striding over to the near wound like hole in the building.

“Go around the back, make sure they don't escape through any windows or doors.” She snapped out and a series of ‘Yes Ma`am!’ came from behind her, causing Domino to grin from the power rush she felt before it slipped away a little and the blonde rocket snatched up one of the two pokeballs from her waist and maximised the red and white sphere before throwing it ahead of herself.

With a bright and near blinding flash of red light and energy, one of Domino's two pokemon formed; spiky, needle like golden fur covered the quadrupedal pokemon. Barking out his name, the Jolteon shook himself, causing soft clickclacks as his white mane like fur collar struck against itself or the golden coat covering his body.

Domino gave a near evil smirk as she watched her pokemon for a moment, before saying almost sweetly; “Jolteon, I want you to go into that building there... and take down anything that moves.”

“Jolt tee!” The Jolteon cried out as he bobbed his head before darting off into the building, becoming a near blur of yellow fur.

-

Latias snapped awake from her slumber as she heard the explosion and the sharp cries of fear from her three new and temporary companions. She herself almost vocalised her fear and let it be known she was not a human, but she caught herself in time and clamped her mouth shut. But Latias could do nothing to keep her eyes from growing wide in her fear.

“Jolteon!” A battle scream came forth from the darkness as a dark yellowish blur leapt from it and straight for the human that had rescued her. Painfully bright light surged forth from the Jolteon's body and blinded Latias, and the trio too. She heard a pained yelp from either Pikachu or Meowth, then a half gagged scream as a snarled “JOLTEON!” erupted from the fox like pokemon; and Latias could almost hear the large static charge the electric type let fly and then smelt the burnt ozone that was a by product of the Jolteon's release of energy.

As her sight slowly started to return, Latias's breath caught in her throat as she saw the violet haired human laying prone and unconsious on the floor, the blanket was gone. Just burnt to dust, along with a goodly ammount of the nameless human's clothing, his skin was also a little burnt in places, but he seemed alright. Latias hoped he was alright.

Then a startled cry wanted to fly from her throat as she saw the Meowth, the Jolteon had the Meowth and was trying to finish it off and the Pikachu was hapless to do anything. If he attacked, he could hurt his friend, and if he did nothing, as he was doing now, his friends wind pipe was allowed to slowly be crushed.

The Meowth struggled weakly, but he'd been shocked too badly, and there was nothing he could do to free himself. Nothing that the battered Pikachu growling a few feet from the Jolteon and dying Meowth could do either. But there was something Latias could do. Surging to her ‘feet’ the psychic dragon hurtled herself forward. Giving the image of a human getting ready to tackle the Jolteon. The fox was a bit startled at this but started to spark, readying to blast the apparent human and finish the Meowth off.

But Latias wasn't about to let it happen; she'd watched her brother die, she didn't want to see death again. Gold eyes flashing burnt amber then a startling silver-blue, Latias waved a hand and sent a surge of power forth in a Psy Wave attack. The energy seemed to roll a bit in the air before hitting the Jolteon with tremendous force.

“Jeol!” The Jolteon yipped out from surprise and pain as the Meowth slipped from his jaws and tumbled down to land bonelessly onto the concrete floor.

“.. Pi.. Pika?” The Pikachu asked, shocked at what he had seen.

Latias ignored the shocked look from Pikachu or how the Jolteon was slowly pulling himself to his feet as she crashed to her knees onto the floor and scooped up the injured Meowth before getting back to her feet and moved over to where the fallen human was and shifted the knocked out cat pokemon to her right arm as she wrapped the left around the violet haired human, and tried to pull him up.

Pikachu finally seemed to understand whatever this was, human or not, she was trying to help, not hurt, and he grudgingly seemed able to accept her now as he darted over as quickly as his injured body would allow and tried to help her shift his master, but it was near impossible. Latias didn't have the strength to shift an adult human, let alone one that was just about dead wieght on the ground.

“Jolteon,” the forgotten about electric fox hissed as his needle like fur stood on end. He was about to attack once more but froze mid step, ears the only thing moving as they twitched a little before flicking backwards as he sat down, keeping black bead like eyes on the part before him, he waited for whatever had halted his attack to appear.

Latias didn't notice this as she continued to try and fail, at moving the human, even with Pikachu attempting to lend in a hand (or paw in his case) in moving his master to safety.

“Well, well. What do we have here?” A voice started, cutting through the darkness and causing Latias and Pikachu to start. “I had thought I'd just get the target, not two extras and a little girl to top it off,”

Latias looked over her shoulder as well as she could, eyeing the approaching human as she came out of the darkness, a pokeball bouncing up and down in one hand as a black tulip graced the other hand. Growling erupted from the human's feet as Pikachu tried to arch his back a little and appear threatening to the woman in black. Her blue eyes glittered a bit as she continued to bounce the pokeball in her left hand.

“And trying to escape? Tsk, tsk, such deviant behavior.”

Latias tightened her hold around the human a bit more, she didn't like this woman, or how she was acting, or what she was saying to her, or rather, just speaking out in general as if Latias wasn't worthy enough to be the center of focus. And then, finally, after smirking a bit longer, gloating about her victory, the Black Tulip let her gaze slide onto the girl with freakish red/silver hair. “Too bad you didn't realise trying to save copies isn't worth it.”

Latias was given no warning as to what the rocket executive was going to do as she finished speaking; then snapped out that black tulip in her hand and a massive shockwave of dark energy swept forth, slamming into Latias and Pikachu full force. The illusionary dragon was sent tumbling across the floor, only to come to a stop against a crate that stopped her rolling. She was just able to bite back a groan of pain as her eyes slid shut.

The Pikachu wasn't better off, having been lighter than the Latias, he had been sent airborne, left to slam into a wall and fall to the ground with a sick thud-snap, a leg and his tail now lay at wierd and unatural angles. Showing the limbs were broken. Not that Domino really cared as she recalled Jolteon before hiding the pokeball away and walked over to the prone male and crouched down. With a dark grin she got him onto his back by placing a hand on his shoulder, shifting him only a little bit before managing to get the task done.

Domino let the tulip in her hand gently caress the knocked out man's face, the grin still there and as dark and evil as ever as the flower came to rest on his lips, “You're mine again, lover,” and there was no sweetness, no love, no kindness or caring in the tone. Her voice just held the quality of someone musing over an item to be possesed once again.

Glancing up from the prize she had just recaptured, Domino thought for a few moments as she looked at the Pikachu, Meowth and the girl that lay out cold in various places. And decided to spare the three. As she didn't have time, nor want to deal with getting rid of three bodies, or one rather, as she doubted there were any pokemon large enough, or willing enough amongst her minions that'd eat a human. And she didn't want to sully her Cacturne in such a way.

Sparing her prize one last glance, the infamous Black Tulip stood up as she pulled out a walkie talkie like object and turned it on. “Alright boys, bring the van around, and get someone willing to take care of a little mess I've discovered.”

Turning the device off as she earned a ‘Yes Ma`am’ from whichever lacky had answered, Domino started to hum a little to herself, already plotting what she was going to do now that power and wealth had just about been dropped into her lap. And Domino was loving the fact that there was going to be more than enough of both to last her awhile.

So Latias is in the grasp of Team Rocket? ;o Shocking.

A few grammar slipups.

“Go around the back, make sure they don't escape through any windows or doors.” She snapped out

But not just this sentence in particular, but with most of the dialouge. I could have sworn, when you're making dialouge and the sentence ends with a period, you put a comma, making it "Look at that cat," she spat as she brutally butchered the beef.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's right. Nevertheless, I'm nitpicking.

But nevertheless, I like the phic. It has an interesting portrayal for Latias. Good job, Yamz. I'm looking forward to the upcoming chapters.

That part absolutely caught me off-guard. Hmm...I could have thought that Team Rocket was trying to catch Latias, which is female, and well...I'm confused. ^^ I sometimes get a bit confused when I'm reading such well-written fanfictions, so please, help a flummoxed Syra out please. ;o;

Onward, I say, Dodrio! ONWARD! *rides elegantly*

*ahem* As of now, I've only read the first chapter, which was indeed excellent. It was flowing with description, and I absolutely love fanfictions that include dragons, yet alone the legendary dragon, Latias. ^^ Your writing style is very fluid and smooth, just like the gentle flaps of the ocean. I love the way you write, it has a sheer touch of simplicity to it. There isn't much for me to say, except for the statement above, and I'll return with reviews of the other three chapters. Excellent job, Renegade.

Sorry to have made everyone wait so long for this next chapter! .. and sorry for it being so short too. I promise the next chapter will be longer, I just needed to get a filler moment out of the way, then do Meowth, Pikachu and the currently still unnamed human.

Chapter Five: Dragon's Choice

Latias hurt. She hurt so much. She'd never felt her body ache, twinge, even scream at her from what had happened. It was hard to remember, but she did; the blow to her head hadn't helped at all. Slowly she became aware of more and more of everything. Her hands were bound in something cool and metalic, while something was blocking her mouth. A foul tasting little bunch of cloth.

She didn't know where she was exactly, but it didn't matter as something else hit her senses. Forests, soil, streams… Nature. Whatever had happened, she was out of the nasty city, away from there. She was free...

Free!

Slowly pushing herself up while cracking her eyes open, Latias scanned the area, but she saw nothing in the dawn's early sunrise. Turning her head a little to the sides, and letting her psychic powersweep what she could manage without making her head hurt worse, Latias didn't ‘feel’ anyone close. So she quickly delt with the gag, biting down and chewing it- ignoring the taste of what she thought could be blood on it- and made quick work of it as she spat the wad of disgusting material onto the ground.

Letting the illusion around herself drop, the eternity dragon bent her long gracefull and white down covered neck to bring her slightly triangular muzzle to bear on the metalic object covering and binding her arms. It took a few tries as she had to chew it a few times to allow her teeth a better grip on the nasty tasting metal; but they broke after a few moments of worrying them.

Twitching wing like ears on the top of her head, Latias let her head raise up again, great golden eyes look around. The only companion for her it seemed was the wind that toyed with her short fur like feathers. And as much as Latias wanted to take to the skies like the wind seemed to be begging her to do… Latias realised something. And it shot her cold to the core. If she left now .. if she left now it would be the loss of her brother all over again.

Sure, she didn't know the human all that well, but he had .. he had saved her from those vile humans. And she had started growing fond of that Meowth ... and even the Pikachu...

Latias hesitated, not knowing what to do, to flee or return. To save herself or to help the one that had rescued her. In desperation, she sobbed out; What do I do brother!? trying to find guidance from her brother even if he had already passed beyond.

Nothing seemed to happen for a moment. Then suddenly the wind shifted, and started to gust strongly against Latias's left side. As if pushing her. Turning, the red and white dragon flickered her wings slightly up and down as she raised her head up a little while chewing on her lower lip, a human habit she'd picked up over the years. To do this...

Brother?

The wind gusted stronger a moment and Latias would have sworn if she knew of the human tendancy to do so, that she felt her brother's hand on her head ruffling the feathers there. And then it was gone, leaving Latias feeling empty and alone. And she didn't like that. She needed companionship, and as much as she had denied herself that, somehow she'd found an aquaintence, or maybe even a friend in that human...

Enshrouding herself in a mirror like cloak that covered her body like quicksilver, and hid her from sight in plain sight. Latias started off towards the human city once more. She didn't know what she'd do once she got there. But Latias was sure of one thing... she was going to try and return the favor the human had given her. She was going to do what she couldn't have done for her brother.

She was going to rescue him.

Two mistakes here. ^^ Gracefull should be graceful, and metalic should be corrected to metallic.

Other than that, I must say, I am oh-so-happy I chose to read such a tantalizing story as this. I absolutely love how you are using Team Rocket, because I haven't read decent fics using them in the correct way that they should possibly be portrayed - malignant, mysterious, and just making their plans succeed. Latias changing her form is very much clever, and taking the setting where her brother has died also added in character development in her for the last five chapters. But, I must say that Domino is my favorite character - I love her blonde hair and I love her malevolence while being apart of Team Rocket.

Renegade, you made Team Rocket much cooler than the show, in my eyes. And some of the words used in this story just stunned me, for I find them perfect for the setting and description and emotions. And I love the way you described your characters - unique and original details keep me coming, yes they do. ^^ The description is something I really enjoyed, because it is just unique and very good, especially describing Jolteon as an electrical fox or Latias as the eternity dragon. *gives Renegade dragon cookie*

Kudos for using Meowth, Pikachu, and Jolteon - I just love the way you presented them. Congratulation on a fantastic story.

Zomg it's the case of the wandering L! Not wandering eye, wandering Lllll. *coughs* And thanks for the cookie. Nice to know someone else likes how I've portrayed the characters in the fic so far, and how I'm setting the story up. Hope to continue to please you and others with this fic, as really, when I had first started writing it, I didn't think I'd draw in anyone that wasn't like, a mindless little zomg it's Latias it must be ALTOSHIPPING

so thanks for proving me wrong XD

No problem, Renegade. Actually, while some would believe that fanfictions with Latias are lame, I just smack their heads with a metal bat and tell them how the Dragon Gods will slice their bodies and devour their bloody, wet chunks. >D I love fanfictions with dragons and the stunningly malicious Team Rocket. It is all too good.

But yes, the title was what definitely caught my attention, but I was planning to read one of your fanfictions anyways. One of these days, I'll have enough strength to start reading more about, since I basically only read Scrap's work in the past. --; Okay, let me stop running my mouth like I always do and tell you that you have definitely earned my respect as a writer and a friend. ^^ Looking forward to the next chapter.

Dammit, always late as usual. ;_; Syra says tr00, since no one seems to have thought of the fact that Latias is an illusionist, as you've said, and has a lot more potential. And I'm guessing Latios is dead because this is taking place after the 5th movie? Because Latios died in the movie. D:

And yes, Syra, you need to stop cheating on other people, you lying wanker. There are other fish in the ocean! Fly! Fly free! *throws Syra-fish into the sky*

I'm really happy to see Domino, too! XD Ever since I saw the Mewtwo special, I thought she was an awesome character. Too bad the Beedrill pwned her in the end. :p Glad to see "Black Tulip"'s back.

And OMFG MEOWTH. D:
