Really and truly
Unfortunately the Rules don't specifically say how to use this section, and telling a person to just go read the rules is pretty much mini-modding. Yay!

Anyway, the way this section for text-based Role-Playing Games works is that first a person gets the idea for the RPG. This person, who runs and is in charge of the RPG is called the Game Master, or GM for short. They will type up the idea they have for this RPG to make the skeleton, the plot of the RPG (which must follow the rules, so be longer than 400 and include proper background and so on). It's always good to work on the plot for about a week just to make sure it's perfect.

Then they will post this plot, as well as a Sign-Up Sheet in the RPG Sign-Ups section. In the same post they will include a Sign-Up Sheet, which anyone who wants to participate fills in so as to create their character for the RPG. These usually look something like this:
Name:
Gender:
Age:
Personality:
Appearance:
History:
Other:

The GM decides which characters they like the most and can deny or ask people to edit their characters if they're not good enough.

Then the GM starts the actual RPG in the main Role-Playing Game section. They write an introductory post that sort of sets the scene for the RPG. From there the other RPers post so as to further the story along, posting from the point of view of their character. The GM can throw obstacles and problems at the characters that must be overcome and in the end they need to try to accomplish the original goal of the RPG.

Hope that helps, for further information read the Stickies and if you have any more questions feel free to PM one of the RPG Mods. :)
