i'm having a hard time finding a staryu

I think you have to use the super rod in the water near Lillycove.

they are kinda rare so look for a while

When you are in the water/on land, make sure you are still in the Lilycove area then use your super rod....you'll have to try several times....it worked for me....

Fish on the cove, not the ocean, and fish with a Super Rod. It may take a while, though, since it has the rarity "Some" according to my Emerald guidebook.

You will find it after time, it took me about 10 minutes.

Has anyone tried a good rod yet? Your chances of catching one using that would be NEVER. I'd try the Super Rod also. Happy Hunting!!
