I'm trying to catch a cheater

My best friend has 383 pokemon, including Jirachi and I just want someone to confirm the information that is on his legendaries. They just seem so over powered, not that he battles with them, but when I look at them, they seems too strong. I just want to know if the info tags on the pokemon are correct, because I was able to catch another friend who was cheating by looking at his pokemon who were suppose to be hatched, but were hatched at high levels.

The only ones that doesn't seem right to me is the Jirachi and Lati@s

You get Jirachi at level 5
And either Lati@s is at level 40 when you meet them in the wild. Its 50 when you meet them at Southern Island.

Are the beasts from XD/colloseum,whatever, supposed to be at level 40?

Yeah, they level up if you train them to drain their heart gage, otherwise he caught them at 40 and used the Vivid Scent on them or just walked around with them in his party.

Also, I believe that Ho-oh's info shoud read that it was "Met in a fateful encounter" at Lv 70.

Ok, so his discrepencies seem to be comig from his 3rd gen and colloseum poke's. Can anyone confirm if the info from the regi's, groudon, kyogre, rayquaza and lugia are spot on, just in case?

They seem ok at a glance, .Jirachi is correct as its a Fatefull encounter from Pokemon Channel.

jirachi can be obtained via pokemon channel for the gamecube at lvl 5

checking his hours of play might give you a better clue, but what you have stated seems to be true

they all look fine to me.... u can also get jirachi at level 5 from the preorder colosseum disc... the only i can't confirm is the lugia and lati@s
but all the others look like the same messages from what i got from colosseum and ruby.
HO-Oh will say met in a fateful encounter... it will not say met on mt battle because it wasn't met on mt battle... mt battle is just how u unlock it

there all fine lv 70for kyogre, groudon and groudon lv 40 for regis and 50 for lugia

some or most of those should say met in trade ie entei,raikou,suicune you can only catch one per game i thought. which game?

you can only catch one of the legendary dogs on fr/lg depending upon your starter. Squirtle=Raikou, Bulbasaur=Entei, and Charmander=Suicune. You would have to trade to get the rest, or get them all from pokemon colosseum.

Yeah, your revisions seem correct. As for you wanting to catch a cheater, I probably wouldn't have even suspected cheating, legendaries are supposed to be more powerful, although his probably have good stats and natures if they still seem extra powerful. However, off topic, I didn't know Jirachi could be caught on Pokemon Channel. I don't have the game, but how is it possible that he can be caught and traded to other versions?

Yes, you have to watch the whole Pichu Bros episode. First of all you have to find the segments (there are 5 segments, one for each day), then Prof Oak says you have a treat for the next day. The next day you go on Jirachi appears and makes you watch the whole episode. You then can put Jirachi onto Ruby or Sapphire (i don't know if you can do it in Emerald) once you have over 100 pokemon in your Pokedex, and if you have a spare space in your party. It is one Jirachi per game, and you get it at lv5. Hope this helps!
(ps if i have got it wrong, or missed something out, I apologise! The game is in real time, so it would take 6 days to play before you can get Jirachi!)

This reminds me...I got a schyter (that evolved in a scizor) from a boy.Level 25, caught in Red, Safari Zone.Standard IVs, moves, nothing special.
But a month later I realized, that it was caught with a REPEAT BALL.In the Safari Zone.That's impossible.So I had a cheated Schyter :'(
Or maybe it's just a glitch.But I wasn't planning on using it anyway, I released it after breeding for a female scyther.
It just gets me why would you cheat to have a pokemon, which is in your game

Maybe because the cheater is not very good/patient at catching pokemon?
