The only bugs I ever use are the unstoppable armaldo and scyther.

what's wrong with bugs as they are? heracross, scizor, scyther, pinsir, armaldo all have amazing attack and interesting typings (well scythers is bad). shedninja is interesting and useable and ninjask is the fastest obtainable pokemon in the game.
