well, i just got to the sky tower,, and i sudden;y remember the dream with gardevoir, and saying something about returning to human. what will happen after i complete the mission? will i return to a human and lose my saved data?
im asking this cuz i actually got stuck to my partener, char, the charmander.
yep, that's what happens when u get 2 addicted to kystery dungeon......*sniff*..........

After that you fly up into the sky and everyone is Crying. You request that you want to stay. Everyone is still crying at your base. You fly down and they are happy. Anyway you can still play. If you're that attached to your partner, Bad News is you can't evolve with your partner. So you have to go alone FOREVER!!!

Yea. Dont worry though. At the end(this is pretty corny) your starter whishes really hard, and he becomes a pokemon. But i miss my Cyndaquil coming to visit my squirtle every morning... Wow. I am such a loner...

this happened to me also i thought it would happen.... welll after you beat raquaza...he saves us from the meteor... then...you are on great canyon...this is the part where i cried.... i am serious.... sy to space he left all the pokemon...and my best bud cyndaquail....then you are in space... a voice speaks...i says if you really believe and wish you....can meet again...then you decide to stay a pokemon! cyndaquail and all the other pokemon are rejoiced that you came back! so no you stay a pokemon! this is the only pokemon game which i cried in though ever.smith you are making me sad right now i miss my cyndaquail visitng my squirtle everday too.

Well everyone else has already answered, but oh well...

You do leave, the credits roll, and then you're back, according to my friend. I haven't had a whole lot of time, so I'm just starting Sky Tower, but my friend's already beaten the game, so I trust him. ^^

Yes. It made me cry a little too. The music did it. It was absolutely perfect, plus I'm a sucker for good music XD MD just happens to have a good plot and music to match. The game was just too short though....I sure do miss my dreams with Gardevoir at night, my parther, Pikachu waking my Eevee up every morning and fighting with Gengar's team. Especially Gengar. <3 I miss him so much. The Murky Cave mission with him just wasn't enough! This is why there should be a sequel.

if you read the serebii.net guide, of course with ANY pokemon game, after you win it becomes rather mindless and i dont think they'd restart it after beating it...seriously =\
