Hi, I might be back for some reason or not, if it doesn't interfere with my life much...
So, I saw this movie a few days ago, called The Man from Earth. Great movie for people who like philosophy and science fiction, but I digress...
Is it moral if one day we are immortal? Are we meant, like so many machines, to die? If you believe in an afterlife, then maybe. Is it immoral for another reason: one day, if everyone lives forever, there will be overcrowding and overspent resources, no matter how far we expand. Population growth is exponential (Isaac Asimov's Last Question).
