Imposter Oak in anime

I think Imposter Oak should be in the pokemon anime, because that would give me a reason to watch it.

who else thinks Imposter Oak should make a apearance in the anime?
(and no, Im not talking about the time James dressed as Oak)

What would Imposter Oak do? It would only work for a single episode in which Ash and co. mistakes Oak for the imposter. James already fulfilled that role. Imposter Professor Oak is a cool looking card, but it is a useless role in the anime. You don't see as much of Oak in AG as you did in Kanto/Johto anyway.

Imposter Oak might have been one of those TCG-only things.

There's quite a number of things in the TCG that have no correlation to the anime. Imposter Oak was already applied, even if it was in a completely different fashion.

Like, there's no Lass, or whatnot. Tools and some cube thing doesn't really exist either.

Imposter Oak wouldn't have any real role in the animé, since James already became a sort of "Imposter Oak" in one episode. If Imposter Oak did appear in the animé, then the plot would be tedious and repetitive.

Imposter Professor Oak is a Trainer Card in the Pokémon Trading Card game, and has absolutely no relation to the Pokémon Animé.

Yup, the English title was "Will the Real Oak Please Stand Up?" That was pretty much the anime version of Imposter Oak.

No he doesnt, by the way Impostor Professor Oak makes your opponent shuffle his/her hand into their deck and draw seven cards. I suggest writing an episode and submitting it to the writers, it is your best bet for getting Impostor Oak in an episode. No promises however, especially with the current state of things. ;025;

Imposter Oak is just from the Trading Card Game. He's not from the anime and never will be. He's just a card.

haven't there been other trainer types from the video and card games that have made an appearence in the anime.

I know that the Lady from the RSE games was an opponent to Brendan in the opening of the sixth movie, and made a speaking cameo as a disguise of Brody's

and a CotD that's the spitting image of a Bug Catcher made an appearence once as well (oddly enough, he had a spheal and was interested in water types rather then bugs)

Those are more from the games though. The anime references the games in many aspects, but has never referenced the cards directly.

will the real oak please stand up was a funny episode. I saw the screenshot of Mary(Jessie) glomping Prof Oak (james) and i was like ahhh what Oak and Mary, oak sure does like the younger women!!!
But then i saw the ep and relized it was Team Rocket and they are alway up to stuff like that.
i think that ep sufficently bought up imposter oak and no other card has even had a teeny ode like that

Lol, but if memory serves, Mary *was* hanging on to Oak pretty tightly when TR came over and challenged them. I thought it was odd, too, but kinda funny.
On topic, it would be nice if the TCG characters were shown, but I don't think it'll happen. In Johto there were a couple of people who vaguely resembled the cards, but I don't recall too much of that series.
