improved sprites (my second day at spriting)

I'm sorry but I don't see any improvment over these sprites and the stuff you posted before. TBH it still looks like crap.

I suggest you actually either start putting effort into the sprites, or go look at real spriters sprites to see the difference between crap and greatness. Cause I'm sorry but not even I was this bad >>

well the latias splice you did looks terrible. and i did put effort in, very much so in the latichude one.
the first ho-oh on your row is brilliant! i tried to do the white and the feather tones, but my computer wouldn't let me no matter how many of my friends techniques i tried it still mucked it up and i had to start agin. i was told that that was the best i could get it with my laptop (Compaq presario 2500 yr2002 edition).

you call my latiarig splice terrible when compared to your own sprites it looks like da bomb? I'm sorry but insulting my sprites, even if they aren't the best is not how you earn cookie points. And maybe you should use the official colors IE colors from the sprites for your revamps, as it's not WHITE that is being used, but a very, very light/soft grey.
And if you are going to be unable to even get better if your computer prevents it, stop now and try again later. When you have a new computer or something. >> or stop making excuses and put some effort into it. Because I am sorry, I still don't see how there is any effort into your sprites as they are absolutely terrible in shading, recoloring, blotchy and it looks like they're missing outlining.
So please don't call my Latiarig sprite terrible. It might be bad but atleast it's not an eyesore like yours are >>

Give the kid a brake. All, people have been aying to him are your sprites are rubbish. Everyones new to something and arent so good at it. Sure his sprites could be better but you dont need to just say there rubbish and thats it. He probably did put effort into them but just isnt as good as us so to us it looks crap. Anyway The Ho-Oh revamp is to bright. When you revamp a pokemon you use its colours from Fire red/ Leaf Green or Ruby/Sapphire. Oh and The Latios thing needs a better outline. But they are better then your old ones

Glad to see in this post you asked for constructive criticism, so I am intending on delivering some.
I can see some improvement here, but I doubt your laptop should do that to you. If it can see the tones on other sprites then it can use them, so you might wanna get that checked out. I see that you have put some effort into it but to no avail. The Latichude just looks like on big yellow Latios, you might want to add some more parts. Like Raichu's tail for example.

thats hardly a real revamp and a real fusion both are poor the fusion is very scratchy and deformed and the parts dont mix the revamp has the same shading as the original g/s sprite both have all colour outlines wich is badRenegade said:I'm sorry but I don't see any improvment over these sprites and the stuff you posted before. Now that's much better, except perhaps you should shade Latichude's head but that tail make's it look much better. Keep it up. I can see you are improving.

And your sprite still is lacking. It's missing parts, missing outline, the shading is messed up. And it looks stoned or that someone stapled strangled bits to its head as ears. Now, you know, everyone should stop criting me and really try to help this person out instead of giving false hope. You need serious practice Blue Mew. So stop being half assed about it.

Please Renegade just drop. This guy was cautioned yesterday because he thought people here were rude, try not to reinforce the stereotype. Just give support and constructive criticism now. Not to be rude or anything, I can see your point that people shouldn't be criticising your work but perhaps you shouldn't have posted it in this thread. Never compare, it doesn't amount to anything. I'm not attacking you or anything, just advising.

Hmm well looking at it up close it appears a lot of the outline was just cut off, and what is there is just black or white. You might want to use a dark yellow for the lightest parts of the yellow area outline and a gray colour for the white bits. You might want to stick some more of the original Latios on because I can see some is missing.

Blue mew read my previous post and follow the link. Use the tutorials before you startmaking more sprites.then you wont get more people saying that your sprites are lacking if you followed the tutorials correctly.
to make my latichude, i correctly went through the instructions on www.freewebs.com/howtosprite that was useful for me.Dark Pheonix said:
