in emerald..the internal battery "berry glitch"

okay, so i've been hearing stuff about the internal battery, and it's in simple terms, the berry glitch with a new name.
but, if it happens to me, and my time is 999:59, i have all the berries, and growing the berries will never be a problem..(thank you cloning glitch!) will it really change the way i play, it doesn't seem so to me..

internal battery and the berry glitch are completely different the berry glitch just stops berries from growing the internal battery problem stops all time based events

yeah..time based...which is berries and the esp/umbreon factor..which i did already. secret bases may be a problem..

its nothing to do with the 'berry' glitch. nor is it a new name for the berry glitch. the berry glitch was actually a glitch. the internal battery is the physical battery inside the cartridge going dead and stopping all time based events like events, tides in the cave, berry growing and pokemon outbreaks. they are two totally different things and always will be.

?? so if it runs out theres no more time-based events EVER?? will it still be like that if you restart the game or not?? (worries about my shapphire)

There won't be any time events, berries won't grow, esp/umbr You can only get one of them, no clear-out sales, energy guru, casino
And it will be the same if you restart, don't worry, it's not that important

The internal battery in Emerald recharges so you're ok, it should never run out.

it runs out whenever it feels like it....not after a set time. its a 'real' battery.

I have a question is the internal battery different from the save battery.I think my battery run dry but the save game is still ok but sometimes it corrupts when I save inside a Frontier building is there anyway i can fix this?

errr...so every cartridge gets a 'used by' date? please dont tell me this is true X_X so every game has a long time limit? before the cartridge dies?

the internal battery in 3rd gen games has absoloutly nothing to do with saving. it controlls the time and time based events. nothing else.

Save files are controlled by the power from your GAMEBOY there is no 'game save battery' it doesnt exist. just a little file on your cartridge, nothing else.

your cartridge will never 'die' unless you put it under a truck tyre or something similar. your TIME BASED EVENTS will stop. thats all. other than that you can still play the game and save EVEN WITH A DEAD BATTERY!.
