personally, i prefer poochyena/mightyena/shuppet on the route west of lilycove. fishing gets on my nerves, and rough skin gets old fast.

Either Poochyena, Carvanha, or Shuppet will do. You might recieve a massive stats once you level your Pokemon up early for Level 50 Battles.

Mount-battle shuppets. 90% of the time you'll encounter shuppet 9% duskull 1% chimecho (that's what happened to me, don't know the real stats). It's faster then fishing, and searching for poocheny/ mighteyane who will your when you switch.

evolve to shiftry at level 14, know only "growth", clone and make secret base of 6 to get maximum of 72 attack EVs with macho brace & pokerus. Works like a charm each time since you can start EV training from a level 5 pokemon this way.
