    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future

  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

Alright so below is my in-game team I've been using for a while now, I have all 16 badges but I'm stuck on the second elite four. I also plan on reseting my teams Ev's and then properlly ev training them after I beat Red so I'm going to put the Ev's I want on each pokemon

Feraligatr Lv. 56
Adamant
Ability: Torrent
Ev's: 4HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
Moves:
Crunch
Waterfall
Ice Punch
Earthquake

My starter and of course I soft reseted till I got the nature I wanted. He's pretty powerful so far and man can he take hits! He surprises me with the hits he has taken. Thrash and even Crunch will most likely be replaced as he levels up so feel free to suggest some moves for him.

Crobat Lv. 53
Adamant
Ability: Inner Focus
Ev's: 4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
Moves:
Zen Headbutt
Cross Poison
Aerial Ace
Return

I could have waited for a jolly nature but it was the second Zubat I caught and he outspeed pretty much everything so nothing wrong with the attack boost. Most of the moves will be changed but for now those work.

Arcanine Lv. 52
Jolly
Ability: Flash Fire
Ev's: 4HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
Moves:
Extremespeed
Fire Blitz
Thunder Fang
Iron Tail

Another physical sweeper but I like him, Fire Blitz owns and Thunder Fang may take Heat Waves place. Flash Fire is cool and I caught it with it so although I would have liked Intimidate, Flash Fire will do.

Impish
Ability: Sand Veil
Ev's: 128HP, 252 Atk, 128 Spd
Moves:
Sword Dance
Earthquake
Ice Fang
X-Scissor/Aerial Ace

My last Physical boy. I know his nature isn't the greatest, I was catching and catching, looking for an Adamant one and finally this guy came up so I just kept it and he's been great. Set up SD and away he goes.

I'm looking for a Grass or Psychic type because I have neither. I was thinking Gardevior cause I love that Pokemon so please help!

^I would replace Gliscor's Icefang for firefang to cover his weakness other than that everything is good with what foxy said.

Sorry about the bump I was just eager to get a rate.

Couple of things first of all thanks for the rate and the help I will edit it to what I liked. Second these are pokemon I have caught so breeding them to get certain moves is not an option. I like the idea of Arcanine being a hard hitting physical sweeper better than a mixed sweeper. Also can anyone give me a suggestion for another Special Sweeper. That would be great!

You have some work to do with my dearest Feraligatr. Go to the Frontier have Ice Punch over Avalanche and Dragon Dance over Trash, that being said if you cbf breeding Swords Dance is fine. Earthquake should go over Crunch to cover it's weakness to Electric types.

Replace Crunch and Heatwave for Thunder Fang and Iron Head on Arcanine as its pretty much standard and gets decent coverage.

Impish is a great nature on Gliscor so no need to complain about it. Go Aerial Ace over X-Scissor.

For your sixth Pokemon I would suggest this:

Vaporeon@Leftovers
188 HP/252 Def/68 Spe
-Surf
-Wish
-Protect
-Toxic

This thing can take alot of hits. Surf for STAB, Wish+Protect+Toxic is great for stalling and Wish can be passed on to team mates. :)

I don't like Vaporeon because its another water type. I want a grass or a psychic special sweeper. Here are some I've been thinking of

Really you should raise da team a LOT.My friend is in da eight gym an is lv58-62.
oh and take out waterfall on feral.(sorry for shortening

well there all over 55 now but I'm going to train them well later so levels don't mean much right now.

And no taking out waterfall on Feraligatr would be stupid...and what would I replace it with? Aqua Tail?...no thanks.

Still need help with finding a special sweeper.

Just picked up a modest Eevee on my first try from Bill so I'm gonna go with Espeon. I've added him to the team above, tell me what you think.
